I don't agree with my husband wanting me to "trick" him into thinking he got me pregnant and I definitely will not go the route of DS if he is not for it 100%. I totally agree with everyone that this is a grieving process and it will take time. He says he wants to still have a child with me, does not want to adopt and already said no to DS with DE. I am in NJ and currently trying to find a counselor or support group for us to go to and see.

My DH is taking clomid since his testosterone was extremely low but his fsh was very high.

It is relieving to see other people experiencing the same thing as us, I have been trying to find boards and discussions about our situation and have had minimal success. We have been married for a year and a half, DH is 31 years old and I am 27. I know we are still young, but I always imagined myself pregnant young with a large family
Hi @faithful73087 out of interest what are his levels? My DP testosterone is slightly low 8.9 and FSH is elevated 22 has your DH has an Inhibin B test?

Is the normal 10 @DererminedOne? I can't find the results at the moment but DH was around 11 from memory. I know it was just inside normal range.

Ours must be measured differently then because on the paper it said normal was 10 to 20. Hmmmm. Might ask FS when I see her.

To clarify, malak, R u asking about the inhibin B test? Determinedone was quoting the normal range for that. 10 is low. Outside the normal range.

    Hi,
I a new to the site and came across this thread... Hope u don't mind me crashing

My husband also has sertoli only.
He has be on clomid for 3 months and his microTESE is on Thursday.
He had a biopsy a few months ago and they found 1 'abnormal' sperm.
Fingers crossed for Thursday, but we have donor sperm on backup, so either way will hopefully have some embryos in a few days

My husband was the opposite. He was OK with using donor from the very beginning... Almost too OK, that it upset me that he wasn't upset! Seems silly now, but i suppose I was lucky.

It's an emotional roller coaster, but it does get easier with time

welcome Barca07. There is another full azoospermia thread on the forum.

That sounds promising! Giving hope to some ladies whose husband has sertoli cell only.

It is not unusual to have a husband who is OK with donor. I met one in person. Everyone is different.

Are you doing IVF cycle together with mTESE? Where are you located?

    All the best on thurs!

Edit: oops misread. you are doing IVF cycle simultaneously.
