2 of my friends have gone to this place and been happy. I know there was an issue in the news with it, but I guess you have to look into if that was a one off or not.

I just found a review website for doctors and now I'm unsure about the surgeon I mentioned above. Some people say he's really good, but because he's in Toorak he's very expensive and some say that if you're not really rich and likely to go back for more procedures they can be a bit snobby. It seems like the rich and famous think he's great but ordinary people are treated kind of poorly.

So I don't know now! Am seriously considering flying to Sydney to the Cosmetic Institute mentioned above. DP's dad & stepmum live in Sydney so potentially I could stay there overnight.

My house sold at auction today so I'll be cashed up soon. Time to get back into research!

The patient name is the same in both articles. She can't have been that unlucky, lol

    !
I'm pretty sure the surgeon you mentioned is the husband of one of the Real Housewives of Melbourne -Andrea i think? She (and he) are in the first season. They both work in the clinic, and he was in one episode quite a bit. If u are keen, you could watch a bit and see if you like his manner, etc. The clinic was featured in one episode - the launch of some new equipment or something. Good luck.

They had a segment on 60 Minutes this week about The Cosmetic Institute. Might be worth watching if anyone is considering going there

Default Who's had a boob job?

Old thread so not sure if you got them or need info still:

Yes about 10 years ago now.

    How much were they?
    Around $9800

    Do you regret it?
No, not really but then again that could have been a trip to Europe. I have big hips so it's balanced me out of that makes sense.

Does it feel weird having something planted in your body?
    No don't notice.

Did it hurt? And how long for?
I went above the muscle. Hurt for a few days but not that bad ( note I have strong pain threshold)

Did you wait until after kids?
    Nope, well before,

Do you have to get them replaced every 10 years?
I believe the modern ones last a long time, I'll need new ones as I'm sagging after BF but will wait until I'm done ( so another 6 years or so)

My biggest suggestion go with a plastic NOT cosmetic surgeon and make sure they're registered with the board of plastic surgeons
