Default When Did It Start For You?

When did your boobies start leaking?

I'm 18+5 and for the last week I've been finding wet spots on the sheets. I thought it was just my bio oil rubbing off but I put my hand in my boob this morning and felt water. All of a sudden it clicked to me that all the spots on my sheets were in the same area and that maybe my boobs were leaking. I squished my boob and sure enough some clear fluid came out!

I can't believe it has started so soon!! I'm a bit sad that i have another 21 weeks of leaky boobs before i can start using them! What a pain in the a$$! 😭

    With DS1 I was 15 weeks (horrifying). With DS2 I was 20 weeks.

Wow 15 weeks!!! I'm feeling very sorry for myself but hopefully it's a sign that my milk and supply will be awesome! Fingers crossed!

I'm not sure it's necessarily an indication but my supply was ridiculous. More than either of them knew what to do with!

19 weeks. I found expressing a few drops before bed helped prevent leaks overnight and meant I didn't need to wear breastpads until after birth.

Someone told me not to stimulate it as they use that technique to being on labour or something?

It can apparently but I never had a problem...everynight from 19 weeks to 41 weeks. It only worked at 41+1

I only hand expressed so not sure if that makes a difference.

Mine started early at 16 weeks or so, and I have got heeeeeaps of milk (DS 9 months now). No idea if it's related or not but if so it is the upside to leaky colostrum boobs . I don't think using a breast pump in preg would be recommended..usually if you want to express colostrum to store it would be hand expressing and only after 32 weeks. Maybe check with ABA.
