No @BabyOB... 😟 he has like 25ml (enough to take the hunger away) and won't take any more... I just changed to Karicare formula today so will see how we go over the week.

@KitiK, I thought I'd enjoy the wine once bub started fully f/f. The sleep deprivation makes it otherwise... lol

I had to go back to work for the past 5 weeks to finish the school year. I'm done now. Luckily DS2 took the bottle and I expressed at work and BF at night. Now I'm home and he doesn't really have a routine, just feeds and naps every few hours.

But for his naps he wants to use me as a mummy dummy and when I take him off he the boob he wakes and cries, so I either hold him for the whole nap or wear him in a sling. Hard to do with an active yr old! I know I could sleep train him but I'm resisting because I find it stressful. He's 4.5 mos now. I'm going to try to gently wean him off falling asleep on the boob but it's going to be tough he is now used to it!

My boy does the same @canuck28 and he sleeps in my bed too.. I found sleep training (comfort crying/controlled crying) with my #1 didnt work - she was 18mths before she slept for more than 3 hours ata time. I had success pretty quick with dd2 at 12 months old - I wouldnt try it any younger though (for me anyway) I'm too much of a softie!! So a few more months (9 to be exact) before I might get a full nights sleep! 😀

Funny, I was coming on to ask you all if anyone else had a problem with bub nursing to sleep/only sleeping on them! I'm scared I'm creating bad sleep habits. Has anyone done this with young bubs and not had any troubles later on? It's too exhausting trying to do the self soothing!!
