Well a few asked for more birth announcements and I'm only too happy to oblige (as I sit here on the dairy cow pump!) - my little munchkin Lara Helena arrived 2232h on 4 June after a 5.5hr natural delivery with gas and air only (tried to get an epidural but literally as anaesthetist was about to stick the needle in the midwife said hmm might just examine you again...and I'd gone from 2 to 10cm within 1/2 hour :-o)

Congratulations @que sera sera that's wonderful news. Speedy delivery!

Isla was 12 weeks yesterday. Can't believe how quickly that happened. And today she started rolling, back to front!

@que sera sera, huge congrats! What a gorgeous name for your wee girl. Hope you're home and settled nicely. Only slightly (ok a lot!!) jealous of your short birth!!!!

Hey @sarahf yeah I think we popped them out on the same day. It was back to front. Not sure why she decided to take on the harder way first, especially when she hates tummy time so no idea why she is so determined to get onto her tummy as she then gets upset when she is there! We are pretty proud although it has actually presented a problem as I think you aren't meant to swaddle them once they can roll but she isn't used to sleeping with her arms out and I think the startle reflex is still there at 12 weeks...

I've heard a few horror stories @Bellydance of babies rolling in swaddles... I have a movement monitor that alerts me if bub is not breathing etc. If you want to keep her swaddled, maybe check out the monitors if you don't have the movement one

Hi @Bellydance maybe look at the love to dream transition swaddle then you can unzip the arms when she's ready? We put Evie in a sleeping bag at about 8-10 wks I think as she hated being swaddled but the startle reflex didn't seem to wake her up

I have my twins in sleeping bags as they never liked to be swaddled. Best thing I ever did as they are sleeping well at night.
