    @ScubaGal, I had 3 pregnancies, 3 x c sections.
    1st natural conception, 2nd and 3rd IVF & FET with no unsuccessfuls in between - and I'm 35... I think it depends on the individual really (although c sec puts you at higher risk of placenta previa - only slightly, which I had with #2).... I hope the next year flies for you and you can start the journey to #2. I have to say I'm glad I'm done now!
    @BabyOB that sounds like a lovely idea, if not for food for comfort and bonding, thats lovely and I wish you all the best in doing it We aren't sure when DH is going back to work yet, there have been issues with rostering etc so will wait and see. At least worst case scenario he has quite a bit of leave saved up...

    How are you finding twins @Nezz79? Are they in a similar routine? How is your eldest taking it?
    @jonesgirl1980 - how is your family going?

    There must be more birth announcements!!

    Big congratulations to @ladybug14!!! That's a very long labour - hope you are recovering well.

    He's huge! Our little fella at 6 weeks is now 3.8kg.

    Exactly the same for me - we've been supplementing for weeks. I don't usually runnout of milk but the flow gets very slow at 15-20 mins and baby screams and attacks the breast. He wasn't gaining enough weight so after both breasts we give him formula (and Dad can feed him!) and now his weight gain is much better.

    @Nezz79 and @ScubaGal - both hubby and I are keen for baby no.2. We are sooo blessed with a gorgeous little man who sleeps well!

    We have no frozen and I'm 43 so we'd need a lot of luck. We aren't eligible for adoption so we hope IVF can work for us in future.

    @ScubaGal, I was wondering the same thing re c-sec and future babies. Maybe have a look at the study this article refers to. Reassuring!

    Hope you're recovering well.

    Anymore babies arrived?!

    We've been home 1 week today. So good being home! My little bear is going well, just over 4kg and only 9 days old! He's so hungry all the time-I guess being such a long baby there's a lot to fill!!

    Hope everyone is going well.

    @KitiK the twins are fantastic and are in a good routine. My girl sleeps most nights from 8pm till 4am but my boy sleeps 8pm-1ish then up again at 4. So pretty close he just wakes for that extra feed but settles again quickly back to sleep. I think the extra feed is working for him coz at 10 weeks he weighed 4.8kg and my girl 4.5kg. She was slightly bigger at birth. My big girl is fantastic with them and helps out most of the time by rocking their rockers and putting in a dummy. She also likes to help feed them but does loose interest quickly. I couldn't have asked for any better.
