Seems to be quite common @ladybug14 - same happened with my bub. Glad your baby is here & safe. I didn't sleep my 1st night. Make sure you do get rest because come tomorrow, you won't want to sleep a wink. I hope tomorrow comes quickly & you & bub have a wonderful time getting to know each other. Xx

    Hey guys,

Have any of you tried mix feeding (supp feeding?) My lo has been cracking it the last few days to the point where he has been feeding constantly and when not on the b**b he screeches and rubs his ears and face. I'm starting to wonder whether he is getting adequate supply from me.

Any suggestions on what to do? I'm seeing the community midwife this week so will ask her aswell.

    Thx ☺

Sounds like a wonder week @Bundle of joy. Sounds totally normal (although I know it can be frustrating) ...

If he's not gaining sufficient weight @Bundle of joy I'd look at options. I didn't have the supply, sadly no matter what we tried. Once he was supplemented, his weight gain was good

Just popping in to say hi! I hope everyone is going well. Anymore announcements yet??? I am sitting on my phone with babe in arms, with 1 toddler asleep wishing I could go have a rest, but alas I have a tradie here... wish he would hurry up and pi$$ off, was only supposed to be here till 12, its now 130pm with no sign of him leaving anytime soon... At this rate I will have to pick Dd1 up from school before he has gone! Grrr. Early night for everyone tonight!

Hey @KitiK, going good. My little man has 'slept through' & close to sleeping through for most of the past week. Sleeping through technically being 5hrs. I wake waiting for him to wake. Not used to this much sleep ;-)
Always happens that way when you are looking to have a nap. Hope you all get a lovely rest tonight
