The community nurse told me about a prescription drug, Domperidome or Motilium, and an herb called fenugreek (but needs to be in liquid cps or liquid form) to help with supply...

Ordered the herb from iherb.com but haven't asked GP yet for the drug...m

I'm on domperidone (also called motilium) 2x10mg tablets 4x a day & fenugreek. Milk supply is going good. Just can't get him to stay on. I express & top with formula during the night whilst hubby feeds. Throughout the day he goes on the breast & topped with express or formula to fill him. He's a lazy feeder :-/ Just wish he'd go on, drink then come off content. It's been a real mind battle because I really wanted to just breastfeed. But that's just life isn't it...

congrats @HavingitAll another beautiful baby safely delivered

3 days to go for me yayyyyy I can't wait I am super excited to meet bub. I feel amazing almost don't even feel pregnant. Have finished work but still seem to be super busy which is good because it makes the days go a little faster.

Bring on Wednesday hope this little bubba isn't to comfortable and doesn't decide to stay in too long.

    Hope everyone is well xxx

What did the midwife say @Soques? Any success?

In the hospital they would make me wake baby every 3 hrs to feed. Sometimes it took like an hr of doing all sorts to get him feeding. Now at home i feed him when he wants feeding. I don't know if that helps you at all. Sometimes he sleeps 1 hr othertimes up to 5hrs. He may feed on only 1 breast or both up to two times. It's my first time doing all this and it all seems quite crazy but our pediatrician says all babies are different and their needs change all the time.

Yup. Mad. I put it down to Colombian culture - they are what hubby n I call "tick-a-boxers" - everything by the book even if it makes no sense.

They made me worry cause he wouldn't wake up. They made me worry cause he was difficult to feed. And there were so many people visiting constantly - the lactation consultant, nurses for my medication, our blood pressure, changing baby, inspecting us, feeding us, admin people, ... hubby n i couldn't wait to leave. 3 shifts of 3 nurses a day who would come n introduce themselves at the beginning of the shift n ask questions. It was a circus!

I was told to do the same @HavingitAll wake the babies every 3-4 hours. When I got home was doing the same it was sending me mad. Especially coz I had 2 of them to do. Now I just let them go and when they wake I change and feed them. Last night one of them went to sleep at 9 and didn't wake until 3:30 the other went to sleep at 8 and woke at 12:30 and 3:30.

Can't believe my little munchkins are already one month old today! Hope everyone is doing well and I am waiting to hear more birth announcements soon.
