Oh how precious!!!
Oh how precious!!!
But for privacy reasons I wont add - just so I can have a space of anonimity to vent! Haha! x Oh DH picked it - not me!
Come on @Soques! We all want to hear details!!
Also did I tell you, while I was on the operating table, the OB asked if I minded whether a group of students observed the op (part way through)? I was like - knock yourselves out! So a bunch of students watched me give birth via c section from a window to the operating theatre!
CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND A GOOD BABY SWING? There is so much to choose from...
We got bub a Bright Starts Comfort & Harmony because it's a more compact size. We didn't want the whole lounge room taken up by the other big stand swings
Okay --- so contractions started about 3:30 am on Saturday... By 10:30 they were about 5 mins apart... So called hospital and they said to come in if there was 3 in 10 mins lasting a min, blood, or the urge to push... So about 3:30 pm I had a bloody show... So called hospital and told them I was coming in. When I got here they had no rooms available so waited in the waiting room for about an hour while they were getting people out and birthing suites ready. Got into the consulting room about 4:30 pm and got hooked up to monitors, had an internal exam and was 4 cm at that time... Threw up on the floor because of pain in my back... Baby and I were back to back so the pain was all in my back. It was horrible.
Finally got into a birth suite at about 5:30 pm... And things went pretty smoothly from there... Hypnobirthing really helped, I did get a shot of moriphine at 7:30 pm to help take the edge off the back pain. Helped and I was able to take some little cat naps between contractions that way as well...
Contractions started to get really intense about 10 pm and by about 11 pm I was to 8 cm... Waters finally broke at 11:10 pm... And Wyatt Lucas Hunn was born at 11:55 pm on 4/4/2015
DH got to catch baby and I had an all natural even if it wasn't a fully Hypnobirthing ... But I would not have made it other wise...
Baby was born with no screaming or crying... I wasn't able to have third stage happen naturally has I lost to much blood. So had shot and baby's cord was cut pretty much straight away but DH got to do that too...
I have a small internal tear which now has stitches. My arms, shoulders, legs are sore from holding myself up and doing squats has that's how I have birth...
My midwife Samantha was Awsome...and so was my DH
