So, update, feeling good (keeping on top of pain meds - highly reccomend voltaren suppositories and endone for anyone having a csec) had a shower and shuffle around the ward at about 8pm, catheter out and am just about to get my canula out now - so I'll be free! Haha! I keep bumping the canula on the toilet seat when I wipe - and its now itchy! I am also finding putting my hair up hard because it is uncomfortable bending my hand back with a needle still in it! Anyway, time to get a bit of sleep (which is hard because all I want to do is stare at my little prince ) ahhh love being a 'new again' mummy!

@Soques - I can't believe they'll let you wait that long. I do so hope all goes as you wish and asap!

Well since I changed to the public system the dr we saw on Tuesday pretty much said they can't force me tondo an induction and asked how long I would be willing to wait. I decided to compromise a bit and not push it to the full 42 weeks but thought 41 + 3 was a good compromise.

I have a feeling though little man will either start coming today and/or make his grand appearance tomorrow- 4/4/2015 on a full moon with a lunar eclipse... As he was conseaved on the 7/7/2014 ... Hehehehehe

If not we still have a few more days to go before induction... Had a brett intense dream this morning about going into labour and he literally came out in 5 mins non prior warning... And was talking and walking when he did show up. Dressed himself and waddled to talk to his dad and grandpa. Has he had a question. Strange---- just I think he's a bit over cooked hehehehe

Anyway @KitiK congrats what a beautiful boy... Lots of love and hugs...

Lansinoh is great to have for healing sore nipples, Id recommend having some on hand - its funny what you forget! Ha! Oh and when you put bub on to latch (or close enough to latch themselves) just make sure his/her tummy is against your tummy - like one arm towards the floor (bubs body not facing up - makes the latch more even and will encourage a good latch rather than n!pple feed will post any other tips as I remember them xxx

Can't believe my little cherubs are already 1 week old! It was so nice to spend our first night last night as a family of 5. Great to be home.

Oh remembering (reliving) the uterus contractions while breastfeeding...

TMI and FYI - have had very little lochia (never have had a lot with any of my c secs anyway) one benefit of having a c sec, they tend to cauterise, suction and clean up before stitching so if you are lucky, you dont get a lot of post partum bleeding 😊

With my first c sec I didn't have much post partum bleeding maybe 3 days of light loss but this time I've had heaps heavy loss and still light bleeding 7 days on.
