    1st meconium pooh for dad to clean! Awesome job little tyke! Only 7 hours after birth - hope he will want another feed now

    Haha! Thanks @ladybug14. As soon as he was born I asked for skin to skin and he just nuzzled his way to the b00by all by himself! Clever boy. He had a good colostrum feed (from both breasts first thing, then again at 11am. He is happily sleeping now and will probably not feed again for another hour or 2 but I am just keeping him skin to skin on my chest so he can smell and decide whenever he wants another feed so lovely! 1st time was much harder (discomfort wise) but it is so worth it ans really does give me a lot of satifaction their tummies are only so small so doesnt take long to start with. I think the hardest bit os that their mouths are so little so having big n!pples can make it a little more uncomfy if they have to n!pple feed to start with (they grow quick though so its not that way for long x)

It has been such an awesome experience - again! don't fear - it is such an amazingly precious time - i hope you enjoy every minute and are looking fwd to welcoming your gorgeous bub in less than a week!! I know the anticipation can be scary, but every contraction/intervention is one step closer to holding your miracle x
