My slow cooker is my saviour.... Put it on in the morning/afternoon... Ready by dinner...

Got a great cook book for slow cooker called busy woman slow cooker receipts... Great... And if there is too much freeze the rest to stock the freezer.

I am hoping today's the day... Would love my boys birthday to be the 28th...

I am tying to 'understand' from his pov (sleeplessness, other kids, agitation etc) but I think I am being far too generous to be honest, I just want to kick his *** right now. Grrr.

@Nezz79 congratulations! They are adorable and love the names hope you're going okay too! @KitiK I filled our freezer with precooked dinners too, another one that works well was cottage pies and I also made chicken and leek pie filling then on the day pulled it out the freezer and just stuck a pastry lid on. We found this a saviour in the early days!

Thanks @Molros. My dd loves chicken and sweetcorn pies so I might do some of them too - she will eat the filling like a thick soup so I guess we have 2 options for the 1 filling!

Geez that is a long time. I feel for you @KitiK. Especially as we are so used to 'our time' as well...my hubby goes back in May. Pregnancy insomnia + hormonal husband = deadly territory!

Yep - that plus a toddler who is having sleep regression issues (been up since 400am) and 7yo with a sh!tty attitude - I swear putting up with his crap too atm is the icing!

Oh and today the dog shat on the carpet in the media room too (she never does that...) just to make things interesting ... not happy! At least my kids didn't try to eat it :/
