Good luck @Happyma! I have found just rolling with the recommendations the best situation. Apparently I'll have to have a classical caesarean but was hoping for natural the whole way...but what can you do! At least these bubba's will be worth it! Thinking of you tomorrow & am bursting with excitement. Take care of yourself. Xx

    Yay @Happyma so exciting.

Not sure if you gals have seen this before but if you remember this song from the late nineties 'Closing Time' it's actually about birth.

    Hi Guys,

Glad to hear everyone is doing so well catching up on all the stories has been good, had some laughs and a few tears. Wow everyone is getting so close now. While I haven't been very active I haven't really had anything to report just been an avid reader/listener. I have been very lucky through the entire pregnancy no sickness and no problems (sorry to those that have). At my last OB appointment he told me that I am measuring big (fundal height). He said I had been measuring ahead for about a month but had just been keeping an eye on it and didn't want to cause any unnecessary panic. So at 33 weeks I was measuring 37. Apparantley could mean big baby or too much fluid (polyhdramnios). I was sent for a scan and no big baby but very mild polyhydamnios. He assures me it is nothing to worry about as it has happened late and should be fine. I have to have another scan next week. Worst case is C section as head may not engage properly or if my waters broke the Umblical cord may come out. Trying not to stress about it and am refusing to google it as that can only lead to horror stories. I feel amazing have no symptoms and don't even look big really. Has anyone else heard of this is it common?

So I've developed maybe an early onset if preeclampsia. My blood pressure slightly elevated (135/85) but not over the 140/90 and there was no protein in my urine but my BT came back abnormal and my hands and feet swelling are getting worse. They are going to closely monitor me and the babies closely from now till delivery.
Babies are still growing as singletons and today at 35w6d they were estimated at 2.95 & 2.8kg! I think they maybe just as big as my DD who was 3.2kg at 38w3d! Counting down the days (12) and hope I make it till 30/3 but if they come early I know they will be a good size!

    Good luck @Happyma for tomorrow!

And looking forward to all the announcements to start coming and pictures.

Thanks @KitiK. Yes I had PE with DD which came on suddenly at 38 weeks and led to induction and the emergency c/s these are the same symptoms I had with her except bp was over 140/90 but I had no protein in my urine but abnormal BT results.

I thought you did @Nezz79. Apparently if you have it with your first there is a high chance of getting it again (unfortunately) which looks like what has happened to you! I am really sorry this is the case again, at least they have picked it up early and will be able to monitor and manage it. Its such a good sign the babies are nice and big/healthy and 36 weeks (or over if you get there) is awesome for twins!

@Happyma just wanted to wish you all the best for tomorrow! Bring on these announcements :-) Still nearly 12 weeks to go for me but feeling good (just very breathless at times) and still don't look particularly pregnant, although I was carrying my fair share of extra weight beforehand plus carrying quite high so it doesn't really show.

All the best also to all the ladies who are at the stage of counting down not in months or even weeks, but days - exciting!
