@Leisylou your post brought tears to my eyes. Of course you can feel 100% joy and love and commitment to a baby and still grieve the loss of your own biological child. I hope you got though to your partner, I guess sometimes we just have to spell it out to them.

Yes I think DE might be 60% but that might be with a double transfer? Someone might know.

I was quite slow to come to the party with babies too. It was definitely a very slow dawning for me

Sorry about your BFN I have every confidence that Wazza can come up with a more gentle protocol for you. Its a bit pointless if its so full on you can't go through with it!

@MaxKat WTF allright!! Back up the estrogen truck!!! Well of course you've got to go suss out what's going on with those follies Luv they'll be a go-er for you!! Oooh, maybe the other one's have gotten going again?? Failing that, then hopefully the 2 you've got are getting ripe for the picking!!

@Leisylou Oh Luv I, too, believe you can be happy and grieve at the same time. In fact, I'm sure @emski72 , @Vixjc or one of the other Lovelies can give you the stats on the success rate and I know from previous posts of theirs that they've felt a lot of the same feelings your are about grieving the loss of a bio egg baby same as @leyshoja too. It's only natural and completely normal you'd feel that way I know I would.

You're not naïve Luv, I thought it would be easy too as my DP has 2 adult children from a previous relationship as you know and there was nothing wrong with me fertility-wise other than I was older when we first started when I was 37 so just thought it would take a bit longer than most. It's not until you start trying you find out what the score is.

Yes, your previous FS was a right A/Hole!! At least you know Wazza does everything in his power to save pregnancies for his Ladies if they run into problems. I'm sure he will tailor a protocol for you that isn't so hard on your body Luv. Thankfully he's not just a one trick pony!!

I'm going to keep that AF doesn't turn up and you are Preggo, but understand you know your body best. I can keep hoping for you though. This is one of those times where you always want to be wrong I never wanted kids young myself ever despite the fact I absolutely loved/adored them. Granted, I didn't want to be quite this age either, 36/37 was my perfect fantasy age, but sh*t happens (including not meeting DP until I was almost 34). At the end of the day, I'm grateful I have her at whatever age and you won't give 2 sh*ts either once you're holding bub in your arms

I believe it's around 30% success with donor eggs so yes 60% for a double transfer.

Blood test says no. I'm ok. We'll do one stimulated cycle and then that's it.

I'm so sorry to hear that @LuckyMe . I hope you can get on with the next one sooner rather than later. It always helps to be working on plan B

Sorry about your result Luckyme. It never actually gets easier to receive that dreaded phone call, even when you know the result it's still hard.

Leisylou, don't be so hard on yourself. None of us could predict ending up on this hideous journey. It's obviously yours and your DH's decision and a tough one at that re OE vs DE. But you never know with your OE until you try a stim or 4.

    Any update Fudge?

Hi to all the other lovelies.
