I figure I may as well flaunt it while I've still got it (just). Hopefully my body will be ruined soon by pregnancy lol !

@MaxKat I'm pretty sure he gets the boys to take the supplements regardless of whether they have a MFI or not. Can't hurt I reckon but it's up to you
Your GP should be able to give you a script for the DHEA and the Melatonin too if you've got a good one who knows what you're going through etc

@MGC Bertie Enjoy your LSL Luv!! Interested to hear an update on how you're going when you get some time

Leyshoja, wow you're going all out for the circus party! Amazing kit! Bet you're nicely tiddled now at the girls lunch. This is the type of life you definitely won't be having with a new bub so get into it!!

Good luck with this stim Chiefsgirl. In some ways time goes slowly with ivf but you seem to have gotten back on the horse really quickly.

Hi there MaxKat, good luck with the lucky last cycle.

AFM, cd1 today after a few days of spotting. Who would think I'd be happy to see my least favourite aunty. Rang the clinic to set up my first blood test for this FET, so will have this on cd11, Mon 23rd. Ideally transfer by Thurs 2nd April just in time to head off on our annual Easter trip with friends. In the meantime I'm contemplating calling Genea Sydney and booking in with one of their FS's. Not that I want a new FS but I want access to their embryologists! No junior ones there so less likely to get 'unknown' results from PGD.

Leyshoja..... lol, tummy has been very hard to hide, so I've found at work in the past weeks that it's been better to hide the whole of me and stay most of the time in my classroom rather than wandering about the staffroom! I've definitely seen one or two people look at my stomach, or is it me just being paranoid?? Anyhow, no-one's said anything, so I'm fine with that.

But this weekend, we have two birthday parties on DH's side, and I told him a few days ago that there's no way I can hide it from them, so we've agreed that he's going to make phonecalls to them tonight to tell them, but that they can't facebook it til after Easter!! Well, when I said "we agreed that he's going to make the phonecalls" what I actually meant is that he said, "why does he have to make them phonecalls when I'm the one pregnant?!!" So we'll see how that goes tonight - I'm thinking I'm going to write the blurb down on paper for him, so he can just read it out to them, and says what needs to be said - lol.

leyshoja - enjoy your party! that outfit is hilarious!

luckyme1 - yes i am still TTCing, Im 41 so really hoping something happens this year!!!

Chiefsgirl - whats an aacp cycle? Are you still just freezing all and waiting to they have a bunch to test?

MGC Bertie - enjoy your LSL ! wow how awesome! Im still in awe of you having luck on your 13th go..gives me hope! How wonderful the bump is starting to show. enjoy every moment of it x

Skyler hows the burns going? You seem really upbeat which is great

AFM - just waiting til our new appointment on Monday, Ive been feeling pretty down actually about the whole baby thing and taking on board all the negativity that we've been given by the Drs and our chances. I think Ive always thought it would work eventually, deep down inside, but thats started to change and Ive started to feel like there's actually a good chance it won't. Its been hard and my sleep has been affected. I think its so hard to imagine what our life will be like without having children, especially since thats where my head has been buried in for nearly 5 years of TTC.

I went to see my GP yesterday for the referral and she was wonderful. I told her everything that they had been saying and she said "well its not no chance, and until its no chance theres always hope". And also to do what I thought so that I had no regrets. So its given me more hope I suppose. She nearly had me in tears she was so lovely about it all.

I hope that doesn't bring anyone else down, Im sure we've all experienced something along the same lines, just needed to vent.

Im off to a birthday brunch soon, hope everyone has a nice weekend

Your gp sounds lovely @tuxcat ivf is such a hard journey, we have all had our down moments. Your gp is right though, u till your FS says there's no chance, there is always hope.

Aacep is an antagonist agonist conversion protocol. I start out as if doing a long down cycle on the pill and lucrin, then when I get a bleed I switch to cetrotide. They blast you with 600 gonal f for 2 days then lower it and add in menopur. It's a cycle done by dr sher in the us and my FS at ivfa does it too. I think wazza does it as well as blondeinbrisvegas has done it and kindly gave me a wealth of info about it. You can also do it with estrogen priming, but my FS doesn't do it. It's for older poor responders.
