Boo to less than 2 but better a clear BFN than limbo.
Even if the FS makes you sign some sort of disclaimer to say you transferred 2 against medical advice, surely he'll relent now. I think there's got to be one good egg in a batch of 8 from a 34 year old, FFS! Let it be one of these next 2!

Good luck Leyshoja with getting two transferred as long as you're aware of all the risks then I say do it.
Skylar that burn sounds terrible but thank goodness for wonderful Neighbours.

Winsor, I'm keeping it all crossed for you. When do you transfer?

AFM started my Clomid, blood test on 16th. Trying to stay detached but it is hard..

@leyshoja I'm sorry to hear about your BFN that just sucks. Here's hoping the next round for you is the right one (or two!)

@Skyler that burn sounds horrific, you poor thing. I was once at a function and a drunk guy knocked into me when I was making a cup of tea out of the urn and had boiling water all over my hand and up my arm, and it was SO painful. Burns are the worst. Along with the vitamin E and bio-oil, I did a poultice of manuka honey every day as well, and also used some pure lavender oil - both are good for burns after the first stages of healing. And lots of aloe vera as well, I would get a fresh leaf, slice it open and bandage it onto my hand for a couple of hours. Hope you heal quickly.

I've not been on here as much as before, so not am up to date with everyone - sorry (having my own little pity party!) but I'm looking forward to seeing some BFP's here very soon!

Do we know how @Butterfly39 is going?

    Baby dust to everyone

What do people do about their diet whilst cycling. Still haven't lost that 5 kg' sand want to, but worried about restricting my energy during an IVF cycle.

You can, just pm a mod. There's even a few active threads at the moment where others will suggest a new username for you.

Hi Leisylou, good to see you back here, I had a break too, sometimes it's needed. And thanks for the burns advice. Do you think you will jump into a full ivf cycle next?

Lucky I know there are all sorts of opinions out there on diet, some of them scientifically proven, some fads followed with religious fervour. But my opinion is that you should not put your body into a catabolic state ie you should not be losing weight during a cycle. That does not mean splurge either, eat a balanced diet, eat til you are comfortably full, but not stuffed, forget that last 5kg. You can get rid of that after you've stopped breast feeding!

good luck for your cycle too. yes, it is hard to remain detached. we're only human
