Can't anything be easy in this 'journey'! So Butterfly did you have to drive to Bris or are the planes still flying?

Yeah Bongley I know it feels miles away when you are about to start sniffing, like you're at the bottom of a mountain. It's amazing how many people, smart, educated ones at that (unfortunately I was one of them) think everything will be ok if they save their TTC attempts for say age 39. One of my close friends is 36, works in medical education (!!!) knows everything I've been through, but her and her DH who's 43 still can't make up their minds if they want kids. I've urged her to think about it, not to say have one just because you can, but really think hard now, not in a few years! Ok I won't say the word b*rger or m*ccas! Think of berries instead but best not frozen ones.

The TC has just been tipped to cross as a (potentially) severe Cat 3 early tomorrow morn (now revised to 2-3am) anywhere from Mackay to Double Island Point but guesstimates now put it to make landfall around Gladstone. Mind you..that could all change again by later on tonight. So unpredictable.

Hope you've made it down in one piece @Butterfly39 😊

Skyler... you're right. Obviously when the moderator cut and pasted our roll call, they've taken an old one, so I'll go back to the old thread and copy the latest one and fix it up now. Post note - all done now :-))

AFM....rather freaked out again, as on way home (5.30pm) was listening to all my phone messages from the day, and there was one from the U/S place where I had my 12 week scan and NT BT on Tuesday - it said, "Can you come and pick up your NT results and take them to your specialist as it's high risk?" OMG, who leaves a message like that - now I have to stress all night, as the place was already closed at 5pm, so can't go and get them until tomorrow, before I go to my ob appointment. I first had a cry. Then I composed myself, saying that this was the whole point of doing these tests, was to find out now. Then I got mad and googled, and found that NT thickness should be under 3.5mm, and my baby was measured at 1.7mm, so from what I've read, that's not "high risk". Or maybe, it's got a "high risk" of something else? I know there's nothing I can do, but gosh, it's going to be a long 18 hours until I pick up those results.

Would they have classed you as "high risk" simply on your age? I think anyone over 35 is classed as high risk. Try not to stress x

Hey Bertie I think Petal is right. The NT thickness is fine, they are probably referring to you and your pregnancy in general. I'd prefer to say the pregnancy is super premium rather than high risk. And that's a very unprofessional voicemail to leave! Things like that need to be said in person so they can be elaborated upon!

**** Bertie, that is really terrible, I'd definitely make a complaint. Fingers crossed they stuffed up the phone message and the fold is ok. It may be high risk because of your age? Sending you virtual hugs.
