@Petal40 so sorry for your crappy result @leyshoja all the best for your transfer today and positive vibes for tww

Had FS appt on Tuesday, came away feeling very low and teary. Just wish I had a crystal ball too see in the future.
FS said she doesn't understand why the embies are not implanting, as I have been producing good ones.
After reading your posts and taking age into account, one assumes that maybe the embies are just not up to standard?

She has suggested a Laparoscopy, but as I do not have PHI they came me a worst case price $10k with est $1k back from Medicare! So will get a referral letter and see what the public wait lists are like. Has anyone else had this done?
Also mentioned embie testing with an estimate $8k price tag... Is this amount normal?

I have postponed my next cycle, as I don't think I could go into it with enough positivity at the moment. Too many things rolling around in my head! Have also been reading about DE, any advice on SA vs Greece?

JMT I looked I to SAY and it looked to me like the best option. They had a lot of Aussie's going there with a lot of success.

If I could I would probably go to SA for a third if these cycles don't work out. But hubby would say no, and he's right, we have two beautiful boys and we will probably foster a child instead.

Our situations sound a bit similar @Bongley
I have a friend who offered to be an egg donor ( she's 32 ) when I told him I just said don't react just keep it in the back of your mind. He still hasn't mentioned it so I'm assuming he's still processing the info. But your right they do like statistics maybe I'll drop some stats in when/if the topic comes up again!

We are also moving to the "burbs" later this year, we've have had tenants in the house for years and every tenant who has lived there has had a baby so maybe it's lucky!!!
Can't remember who was talking about having a laparoscopy without health insurance but with mine our total cost was less than $3000. I think my FS gave us a discount because we didn't have insurance but even with that up to $10,000 seems excessive!
I'm also off on holidays soon, bring on sun surf and shopping!

@JMT I think I had to wait about a month to get my laparoscopy done on the public list, this was a few years back. It wasn't very long at all.

My embie defrosted 100% intact yesterday at 4 cells (I forgot they froze at two days) and was a nice 8 cell today. So I'm Pupo again, hpt's start next Wednesday probably (9dpo lol) - I won't be able to resist.
I had a brief discussion while there about the remaining three and have decided to culture all 3 to 5 day blasts next time (IF there is a next time) then transfer the best, re freeze the rest. It's only an extra $350 including the freeze. I have never had a 5dt yet, all 3dt.
