I think the blackness is being used to describe sleeplessness and PND to show that scary things can happen in that state. I think the end result is that the baby died and she was unaware as she was so tired.
I found it more sad than scary and kinda makes me want to sleep and make sure I sleep well

Ahhh. I say to myself I won't read all this stuff late at night and what do you know, every night I'm staying up late in bed with tablet reading, think I've been having bad dreams ever since this thread lol geez..

I also Iike the sub reddit paranormal especially when the poster puts up creepy true life pictures of strange orbs or ghostly stuff. Also love the creepypastas.

This is why I was wary about sharing the title. I didn't want to upset anyone. I remember those times ds slept long and the fear of what am I going to see if I check on him.

This is why I got the breathing monitors. I know they aren't there to save my babies but it helps me sleep easier and worked well when DS would hold his breath as a baby. He may have started breathing again without a little nudge but the thought of what could've been is terrifying. Luckily he's grown out of that before DD came along.
Those first few sleep ins are the scariest by far although I do wish DD would bless us with a few sleep ins atm lol
