    Default Honest opinions...

What do you think of these biscuits:

    vovo.jpg

I haven't typed the name of them because I don't want it to come up in google.

Slightly odd thread, but there are some passionate views on these in my office and I want to see what others think!

I have always. Always hated those biscuits, never been a fan of the coconut or anything on it. If it was just jam, I would be a happy clam.

I can't say that I have an opinion at all - I have never tried them, but have heard of them. I am fascinated about these passionate views though so I am subbing!

I personally don't mind them but they seem to be more an old lady biscuit I think people have nostalgia of them growing up perhaps and think they're awesome but they ain't got nothing on mint slice

Do you mean - are they good?

I have very fond memories of these from my childhood but I have bought them recently (reminiscing) and they were not what I remembered at all - definitely had a recipe/quality change.

If you mean something else then I have no idea :-)

They make me think of the lovely old lady who lived across the road from my family when I was growing up. I don't think I've ever bought a packet though.

They remind me of being at my grandparents house when I was very young. Some of my most cherished memories. I haven't had one in years. I wonder if they would even taste the same anymore. I really don't like desiccated coconut though so I will stick with my mint slice and wagon wheels. Drool.

Ditto with the icky, disgusting coconut tainting a perfectly good biscuit!

As for the opinion, I assume it's because the name sounds a bit like a part of the female anatomy?

For those wondering - yes, I'm asking about your opinion of the taste of this biscuit, though any general opinions of this biscuit are totally welcome
