    Hi! Got a BFP!!! Hcg @ 314...jumped over 1st hurdle! Got my 2nd bt on wed.
    @Lastchance75.... I did get a prepaid SIM card as I had an unlocked phone but to be honest it wasn't necessary. She mostly communicated via email. The phone was more useful for when our group was separated. But if you do decide to get a prepaid phone/sim, make sure you get it at airport coz I could only find one store that carried prepaid sim...go figure!

    Omg congratulations @MustRemainPositive. So happy for you. That's a pretty high number too.

    Ok thanks for the tip. We might get one anyway as we have a big group going as well.

    @MustRemainPositive that's great news!
    @Lastchance75 I'm with Vodafone and just paid $5 per day and it used my own data and call allowance from my plan here in Aus. DH went to aapt at the Moana centre and got a prepaid sim there.

    Hi @Mistremainpositive how did your blood test go today?

    I tried to claim lucrin from Bupa and they said the 5mg is only for males so I couldn't claim it. Wtf!!!! Not happy. Who are you with?

    Hi @Lastchance75, bloods came back at 489...not increasing as they'd like it to be. Typically they should double every 2-3 days. But my doc wasn't worried as it increased by 50% and Hawaii didn't seem overly concerned as my initial HCG was so strong. But I went in today and got another sample drawn. Trying not to worry.... LOL...good joke huh?

    Re: the lucrin...that sucks. I would def try and push back. If a doctor prescribes it to you, they should reimburse you for it. I find with insurance companies, if you push back, you might get better luck...it's as if it's a default answer of NO. Have a read of your T&Cs and see what they say about the pharmacy cover. They may have something in there about it. I'm with Defence Health as hubby was with the RAN.

    The pharmacy extras cover should cover pharmacy items that aren't covered under PBS...and they shouldn't challenge the validity of your script...that's not their job.

    Hi @MustRemainPositive I'm sorry to hear that your hcg levels aren't as high as they should be. They've at least increased so that is a plus your def not out of it yet. Sometimes having the extra blood test just makes you worry even more. Mind you there is always something to worry about whatever stage your at.

    I hope today's results give you more comfort. I'll be thinking of you.

    I tried to take it further with Bupa but it didn't get me anywhere.

    @MustRemainPositive I'm so sorry your levels aren't rising quickly, but remember every baby is different. Did you test at a diff time of day? That can affect it.

    Thinking positive hcg increasing thoughts for you xxx
