Hi faithandhopellove - i agree with Lastchance - if you have embryos here i would try them before going for donor eggs. We are only doing donor eggs because we never once ended up with any extra embryos to freeze and on our last ivf round here all 3 embryos died on day 3.
The donor egg option in the US is so frickin expensive - we too have had to take out a massive loan. Good luck whichever you decide!!
Lastchance I have not heard of neupogen - are you with ivf australia here? maybe call the nurses?? not sure sorry!!

I took neupogen with dr m. I got the vials, but I know in a squeeze you can use syringes. You could get one or two syringes to tide you over till the vials come in stock. You'd have to decant into a sterile container then draw up each syringe. I used to draw up all syringes for one vial and store them in the fridge so it shouldn't be a problem. Do you know how many doses per vial he said to do?

No not yet he said he would tell me via email next week. He mentioned something like 5 equal parts as an example. Do you object them into your tummy? He's not very good at instructions on things unless you ask him. Feel like I'm always prompting him for things.

Yeah you do have to go ready to ask lots of q's.

Splitting into 5 is standard so that's .2 of a ml per dose. Do you can decant one of the pre made syringes if need be.

For those who have been the recipient of a donor egg to create your family, or are in the process of donor egg cycles - I've just started up a thread for people to share their thoughts and decision making processes on Anonymous donations versus Known donations. I am in the process of making this decision at the moment, and to be able to hear people's own story and thoughts about this issue, I'm sure will give me valuable insights that will help me to become comfortable with whatever decision we eventually make. Appreciate everyones thoughts - the thread is here: http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/f...did-you-decide
    Thank you so much!

@Lastchance75 I have been thinking of you and wondering how everything went recently in Hawaii? I am hoping that you had some good news. We leave later this week for Hawaii.
