Default Can someone help me with this party theme?

For a 4 year old birthday can someone tell me a theme that includes boys? She would like a little mermaid party but what would boys go as?

What other themes are there that can include both? Is it princess and pirates????That one just doesn't sound right lol

When i was six I wanted to have a pirate party because i really liked pirates, but nobody came - or at least thats how i remember it.

So for my 18th I had another pirate party and this time everyone dressed up and i wore a gold dress (i was the treasure

I don't think you need the princesses - pirates are awesome.

...or alternatively you could just make it an underwater theme - boys can go as Titan or an octopus or something cool and your DD can still be a mermaid. Beware though, because all the girls will probably also be mermaids.

Neverland theme. Boys can come as lost boys, Peter Pan, Indians or pirates, girls can be mermaids, Wendy, fairies. So many options.

I think an underwater theme would be great. Then there's lots of options for dress up ideas and a mermaid will fit in perfectly. Also a lot you can do to match the theme with food and decorations etc if you are doing that too.

We did an "under the sea" party for my nieces 1st birthday - she went as an octopus! The kids came as mermaids, nemo, Pirates, sharks, crabs , a few had sponge bob t shirts and my brother dressed up in his scuba gear!

I reckon under the sea would be a great theme! Also...I kind of want to do a pirate party with me as the treasure now!
