Had a lovely dinner with crabby and pinkshootingstar. And today at Mont Rochelle was awesome. I agree with pinkshootingstar, Faith was awesome at organizing a last-minute request and I wish that I would have taken her up on more activities or bookings.

For those planning, I would recommend arriving at least two days before your appointment. People get bumped, jet lag and general weariness has happened. As well, I would also book for two days post expected transfer. My egg retrieval was supposed to happen Monday, but actually happened on Wednesday. It all worked out as I am leaving on Tuesday, but had I not given a two day buffer, I would be a little more stressed.

Devaki, sorry to hear you are having a rough time. Sending you warm and nourishing thoughts.

Annabelle, I'm a single mother by choice as well (really by chance, c'est la vie), and I am also considering the implications of twins, I am by nature a planner. Cyndi (Dr. Wiswedel's nurse) said that last year, another SMC Aussie had twins and is loving it and can't imagine doing it any other way.

Blinky, the bedrest sounds pretty frustrating, and I don't envy you the valium haze. It sounds like you are making the best of it though. Your employer sounds very understanding.

Tomorrow 1:30, game time for pinkshootingstar and I, an hour later for crabby. Now off to bed for a good nights rest.

Thanks so much for all the support. And Mont Rochelle is gorgeous!

Congrats Canuck & Crabby for such fantastic results!

PSS - best of luck for this trip. Looks like you are off to a great start - fab photos! Your girly dinner sounds fun.

Blinky - of your bedrest sounds hard. But just think of hte end result - it will all be worth it.

Devaki - Sorry you are having such a hard time. It would be very tough. Try to be positive. These little embies can be such little fighters. I hope you get some clarification soon.

Hi to everyone else. It is just constant (mostly) positive news in here when I pop over. So great!

Devaki – I am sorry for what you’re going through, it’s a painful position to be in. Hope everything works out fine.

Annabelle – Good luck with your scan.

Default Egg Donation in South Africa #8

Hi all. I know I had said I was signing off the forum for a bit ..but I'm really hoping you might be able to provide some words of reassurance or advice even.
Today I am 1 week post transfer. Tonight (and I apologise if this tmi) I have found a very very light bleed - almost a brown colour at the moment so probably not even a proper bleed and it is extremely light. This has never happened to me before and I'm wondering if it has happened to any of you? I'm assuming it will mean we won't have the happy outcome we want (sorry to bring the thread outcome down - it really has been so positive).
I've put myself into bed and while I'm on gestone injections I have some pessaries thinking of using 1 of them. My FS had said you can't really overdo progesterone and from what I understand low progesterone can result in this sort of thing?
    Any thoughts or similar experiences?

@Hoping4best, sounds like implantation blood to me and because its brown, implantation probably happened a couple of days ago. Chin up, I think its a positive sign 😊

Devaki, you poor thing. I think you have "bed blues" rather than pregnancy blues. Its hard to get your mind our of that dark place but do something outside of the box, like have a dinner party in bed or a movie day, a picnic withbyour little boy, anyway you know what i mean, just tell your friends they have to do all the work! Remember, you'll look back and think it was hard but the short term pain was worth it 😊

How are our PUPO ladies going in SA?

    Hello to everyone else πŸ™‹

Sounds like old blood Hoping, could be implantation bleed, could be breakthrough bleed when your period was due, could be the start of AF. When is your BT? It sounds positive to me but I would have POAS by now to find out! Here's hoping!!

Thanks Miss Sagi and Emski. I didn't think it could be implantation at this stage - I thought that would be earlier? I hoe you're right on that one. Period would be due In a few more days. Emski I would like nothing more than to poas but I have had pregnyl shots this time - did the last one yesterday so would just give me a massive false positive. Blood test will likely be over the weekend (Sunday) but because of Easter I have to find out when I can get the results.

I'll have to do a bit of reading to see how you have all been going but crabby and pss (and of course you too Canuck) wishing you all the best for today.

Bloody pregnyl! I tested it out I'm that much of a POAS tragic... Got it all crossed for you.
