Faith and KLM congrats on your scan results, must be so exciting!

Canuck - what amazing numbers, you must be thrilled!! Well done.

AFM. I'm excitedly waiting at the airport. Have been nervous I'd run into someone from work as saw three last time and work with a lot of South Africans. Instead my partner ran into a friend of his ex-wife's and his sons on again off again girlfriend - awkward - this is going to get back!!

On other news had my lining scan Wednesday, the nurse kept getting 7.1-7.2mm (last time 7.3mm) so called doctor in who said "I can give you 7.6mm, how does that sound". So a little perplexed what it really is. But disappointing given increased progynova and I've been eating eggs, avocado and chickpeas like they are going out of fashion. Sunny kindly gave me her protocol, but Dr LeRoux wouldn't do it

Canuck they sound like excellent numbers (very similar to mine!) so I'm sure you will get some lovely 5 day blasts to tx.

Crabby. Hope your day three results were strong?

Faith glad to hear your 9 week scan went well. How lucky are you to have another scan in two weeks!

KLM - good luck for Monday's scan.

PSS - wishing you safe travels back to Cape Town, will be praying this is your cycle x

AFM - still bed resting (with the rare outing for BTs and intralipids). Our next scan isn't until the 21st of April which feels like an eternity away. We will then be almost 13 weeks so am hoping we get to see a big difference in growth etc to our scan from last week (@8 weeks). It does make me nervous though as I have developed a seemingly persistent ache in my lower belly and after our two big SCH bleeds my normally rational brain is a bit jittery..
I'm thinking if it is still there on Monday I will call the FS or OB and see what their thoughts are... Although I do worry they will just think I'm a raving pregnant lunatic..
Otherwise pregnancy symptoms seem to be under control with just some minor nausea and tiredness - which compared to some I hear is pretty lucky.
    # vegemite & saltine crackers are my new best friends...

wow canuck1 thought my numbers were good!

I decided to go with embryoscope - hubbie has a theory that they prob use it anyway as it will increase clinics odds but for the small price compared with all the trip was happy to pay for it.
Still in turmoil re: one or two embryo transfer - if get the chance obviously - main issue is I'm main wage earner and need to be working and healthy as long as can be ....
find out tomorrow morning if and when transfer will be - probably and hopefully Monday with Canuck and PSS!
Hubbie at jazz festival at the mo - hopefully chilling him as i know he is still feeling a little uneasy about everything - i think our problem is now the boy is 4 we actually have a life again... like the gap is too big but its not like we haven't been trying - rationalize by saying if found out was 'naturally pregnant' would be over the moon...
injecting the gestone is fun -... not!
    enough about me!
glad to hear scans all going well for others!

blinky76 - ache will be just normal am sure but just in case an crossing everything for you

Canuck: Wow, great numbers! Fantastic news.

Crabby: Good luck for the transfer! We decided to have two transferred to maximise our odds given cost and distance involved, and deal with twins if that happened (although I know DH was worried about the prospect). However, I've got gorgeous twin nieces and my sister had a healthy pregnancy so I wasn't as phased as him. As it turned out, just the one took (which we were still thrilled about!). Think odds are about 20%? And I know what you mean about the age gap, our son is nearly going to be seven when his sibling comes along!

    Hello to everyone else!

Thanks to all! I am really hoping for 5-day blasts, I would be surprised if at least two didn't make it.

Wish you were all here for dinner Saturday night. I had a lovely lunch at the beach today. If I am not going in for day 3 transfers, I plan on going to Kalk Bay tomorrow.

Blinky, sending you positive thoughts and like everything through this process, wish for you that time would move quicker.

Update from Cape Town: it is a gorgeous day. I just heard from CFC and: We have 21 embryos growing for you.
    Grades: 18 x 8cell stage and 3 x 6cell stage

    I'm pretty impressed!
