Hoping: I do understand where you are coming from and let me know if there is anything I can do.

Miss Sagi, Devaki and Emski, thank you so much for the information success rates and protocol for post-transfer. I have just packed my comfy laying around pants for a day hanging around the small pool at the B&B. Trying on my summer wardrobe today has not been fun I'm not sure if it is the hormones or the long Canadian winter this year, but I have put on more weight than I would have liked.

Best of luck for this trip, Hoping4best. Have everything crossed for you, and, as others have said, I hope we'll be hearing from you again to tell us about your BFP.

Hoping - wishing you great success for your trip to SA. Completely understand stepping away while you undertake it... We all do hope you come back to visit and that all the March ladies (PinkSS, Canuck , Crabby) have as much success as we have seen so far for this year.
    Big Hugs and safe travels!

Hoping4best, I can completely relate to steering clear of forums. For most of my TTC journey I've avoided them as i hated the feeling of getting left behind where others graduated.
I have my fingers and toes crossed for you that this is your turn to graduate. All the best and i hope your dream comes true for you.

    Hi All
Today my DH threw a spanner in the works and said that instead of going to cape town in November it would be better for his business if we went as soon as possible 😯
So i've spent most of my spare time today getting my s**t together. Contacted my FS to see if he'd support us here and contacted all the donor agencies to get their help finding the right donor. I've gone from thinking i had all the time in the world to now having to turn it around pretty quick. Luckily, thanks to my uni days, i work best under last minute pressure 😁.

I'm realistically thinking that the earliest we'll be able to get there is late june / early july. Is anyone else heading over at that time?

Also my inital contact at CFC has been with Dr Wiswedel. Has anyone cycled with him? What is he like?
Afer reading the forum my inital thinking was that I'd like to go with Dr Le Roux.
Also one of my favourite donors from todays research has indicated that she only likes to go through Dr Heylen. Any feedback on her?
How have you gone about choosing the Dr?

Sorry for the long post. Can you tell I'm freaking out slightly?

Hi Wazbub - Dr Le Roux is going in leave on the 13th June not sure when he's back...
Many have used Dr W and heylen and been very happy. You'll find timing will largely depend on when you chosen donor can cycle for you and you'll work around that- CFC really only need about 8 weeks lead time to do their bit. Hope that helps?
    Em x

Wazbub, I am with Dr Wiswedel and find him professional and delightful. His advice is the same as my doctor in Canada. I have had no concerns and I meet him on March 20.

I am in Capetown and loving the atmosphere. The people here are delightful and I am really enjoying the City. If nothing else, I am looking forward to a relaxing vacation (with a ton of medical appointments).
