Blinky: That's fantastic news! So happy for you (and a bit teary...blaming the hormones!)

Devaki: Good luck at your scan on Wednesday.

Annabelle: Sending you positive thoughts and hope that all is good at your scan.

Hi to everyone else! Like MardiCharli (hello to you, too), I am reading along and keeping up with everything that's going on but am also fairly exhausted coping with pregnancy at a later age, work and a six year old! I'm 19 weeks now...hanging out for my 20 week scan next week as I can't really feel anything in there so, of course, am stressing... Fingers crossed all ok.

Blinky & KLM - Congrats on your wonderful news!! I am so very happy for you both. I think you both have twins on board and so well deserved after everything you have both been through - 4 little beautiful bubbas on the way!! Lots of twins at the moment.

    Thankyou Ladies 💐

Sorry if I was vague yesterday - I'll blame the Valium ...
Yes we saw two heartbeats - for now we have two safely on board😁

We go back in 10 days for a repeat scan.
Warren explained that I am 'very difficult to scan' something to do with the tilt of my uterus and the suspicion that my Endo has caused it to adhere towards my back in some way??
(I do know for certain that in all my scans I have ever had over the years they have always had problems 'finding' my ovaries which do tend to be stuck behind in weird places...)

He then promptly asked me a bunch of questions about scans I have no idea about and preferences for an OB (again something I know nothing about..). I was cheeky enough to ask if he would come out of OB retirement for me ... He said I didn't want a 'cranky ****' like him (Id take him in a heartbeat..)

So I guess even he is feeling more confident now.

Devaki - wanted to wish you all the best for your scan tomorrow x
hoping your forced R& R proves just as successful.

Blinky - what great news! I am so relieved to hear that everything is okay. And, so excited for your twins. This Wazza does sound amazing. And, good to know about the Valium and Brandy.
KLM - official congratulations on what was strongly suspected.
Crabby - My 5-day (fresh) transfer should be around the 28th.
So happy to see all the positive results from February.

So I had my scan today and repeat bloods. Things are still looking good with 1 embryo sack right in the middle where it should be no bleeding to be seen. Hcg levels have doubled to over 16,000 so I just have to wait until next week for 7 week scan to hopefully see the heartbeat.
    Fingers crossed

    Annabelle – That’s great news.

AFM – Got a call from my doc’s office that he’d would be away from tomorrow until next week Monday. They gave me an option to wait till Monday or come in for my scan today. I couldn’t wait that long, so went today. Despite my high betas we have one in there measuringat 6w1d, and we have a heartbeat. I went in expecting the worst, but feel so blessed right now that we have one doing well. I am so thankful. Next scan is next week Wednesday.

Default Egg Donation in South Africa #8

Great news KLM, Annabelle and Faith!
Sounds like the team at CFC really are on a roll...
I have to admit I have been keeping DrLR informed of all our 'dramas' and he has definitely shown much care and concern in his follow up.
