Yippee..... congratulations Blinky76, Miss Sagi & faith15 Now wondering who has double trouble on board????

Blinky76 - The worry does get better with each milestone passed. For me it wasn't until I saw and heard him scream after he was delivered that I finally took a sigh of relief. It is however, an amazing journey and I hope you enjoy it and try not to worry too much. Easier said than done when we have all fought so hard for our precious babies. I told DH your news and he is also thrilled for you both

KLM0511 - Soooooo hoping this is finally your time

AFM - just chilling out while my 9 week old son plays peacefully on his play mat. A friend thought he was about to cut his first tooth. Surely he is too young. Must do some googling on that

January yhe tooth will come when it's ready. Sometimes babies are born with teeth- must say paediatric nurse that bought that baby was a bit embarrassed and scared.

Teething is not related yo any other developmental areas so cannot gauge other milestones. Let's hope it's not a tooth because that would be just too much to look after so early.

Happy to answer sny other questions.

January - Thankyou for the well wishes and reassurance - my own mother has gently reminded me that the worry is what being a mother is all about. I'm feeling ok and just trying to enjoy each milestone as best we can.
It certainly is nice to see us move on the roll call. Yours and Feather's (and respective DH's) tenacity in doing a return visit was a big encouragement to DH and I last year ... I hope that example (and ours) provides that same encouragement to PinkSS with her return visit.

    Hi all,
Well I have arrived in the lovely Cape Town!! Settled into the apartment I found on Airbnb - has everything I could need. Great comfy lounge to sink into with TV in both lounge and bedrooms.
I got an Uber from the airport, was a bit tricky working out where to stand but he found me anyway. I picked UberX and the car was actually a white Corolla which I thought unusual. The driver was very professional though, well spoken, well dressed. He even waited with me out the front of the apartment block until the owner came to greet me.
Have to have my Gestone injection soon and then off to bed. FET tomorrow!

    Hope everyone is well.

Good luck KLM..... I only ever used basic Uber in CT. That's all you need. You rate them and they rate you.....the perfect customer service focused business. The drivers need to maintain above 4 so you'll get great service. Not long now.

    Hello Ertgirl,
I am using donor egg and donor sperm at Cape Fertility. Cape seems to be the most popular clinic on this forum and was the only one my doctor in Canada recommended.
I had no trouble finding a sperm donor through Cape Fertility. The only difference is most American donors are in university. There weren't many from EDSA that were in University (which was one of my two criteria - the other being I had to like the picture). It is closed donation in SA, which is the only other concern I had, but the convenience of avoiding getting sperm donation through customs made it a no-brainer.
The costs for a donor cycle are on CFC's web page. But I am finding the actual costs to be about $700 more. They have the 2014 prices posted and the 2015 prices are 60,655 Rand. I still have to ask for a price breakdown as I was expecting 56,615 Rand. My flight is covered by airmiles. I expect to pay around C$1,000 for accommodation.
My BMI is above 30 (thank you fertility treatments esp. progesterone), so as far as I know there is no BMI limit.
    Wishing you luck,
