Does anyone know what to do for ball pain? 5 months later after TESA DH is still complaining that his balls are hurting/aching. He had no complaints after the haematoma disappeared and then 6 weeks later was complaining of pain. He has had an ultrasound done 6 weeks ago and nothing was found. Really I don't know what to do for him.

It makes me feel bad we did the TESA and makes me have 2nd thoughts about the mTESE.

@malek maybe it's more psychological if nothing physical can be found? It's a pretty big thing for men to go through. My DP has constantly aching testes as he has a varicocle on one, these can cause pain and discomfort as well as infertility.

@Malak: i don't remember who but someone on this thread did say something about dull pain for their DH balls since mTESE. I guess it is one of the side effects. My DH is fine. I am so sorry that your DH has to go through this with only TESA!

DH is going good one week after mTESE. He did and still does have quite a bit of bruising on one side and the opposite one is still quite swollen, he thinks they did a lot more work on one side compared to the other. He did say that if he knocks them or they sick to the side of his legs while in boxers he gets a pain in his abdomen that feels like he's been kicked in the nuts. He still sleeps with a pillow between his legs as he cant close them yet but he's been out working around the house and doing stuff.

Thanks guys . My FS did say some have some pain for the rest of their lives. I will have to ask again next time I see her.

Interesting enough DH did say that the pain is worse/more there when he is in bed sleeping or resting. Maybe it is too warm for his balls when he sleeps?

@DeterminedOne: I think it took my good 2w for not walking funny and a month to being normal. He only had surgery on one side, though.
@Malak: no idea. Put some ice pack on? Both sides?

Thanks he has some ice on them at the moment and is going to try that every night and see how it goes.

He refuses to go back to DrW ... really who could blame him?
