[Q UOTE=ExcuseMyFrench;8251322]How much mess can I expect from redoing a whole plasterboard ceiling? So pulling down the old one and making a new one?

I just need to know whether to empty the room including cupboards? Or leave cupboards as is?[/QUOTE]

Id probably tape the cupboards up and leave them in the room if they aren't in the way. Otherwise it depends on how many pieces they need to get it out in and if it's damaged and will break everywhere. It's shouldn't be the messiest job, but better to be on the safe side 😊

If so I would move everything out of the room and also put plastic sheets up over doorways so dust doesn't get out of the room either.
Yes. Better get to it, tradies arrive tomorrow 7.30 😖

If it's an old house with old blow in insulation it will be awful! We had ours done in the kitchen of our old house. They'd put new insulation over the old one and we also had rats/mice from time to time. It was friggin horrid!

    Aaaaaaaaah 😱

    It is an old house😭
They are redoing the bathroom ceiling and I can only imagine the mess. DH was in charge of clearing the room. I just went and he only stuffed a few things that were on the bench in the cupboard underneath the sink.

    Not impressed 😤

How much did it end up costing? We have only had to ever pay for materials as my dads a builder so that helps!

We have done some painting over the week for our WIR. Slow but surely lol

    Hey girls.

We are doing our garden a bit I have no idea what layout to do!

Also do we match bathroom and laundry tiles I've been looking heaps lately?
