Exactly wiseoldowl, it doesn't work, if it did then there would be no trafficking in SE Asia. What I find interesting is the logic that people are using to not only justify these killings. this is not a victimless crime, all those drugs flooding the street etc, it isn't like the Bali 9 were forcing drug addicts to take drugs. And usually people are really scathing of heroin users....I don't get it

I can't think about this too much as I find it that distressing. I hold out hope that someone will stop this vile, inhumane impending outcome.

Makes me sick. If they go through with it, I'll never go to Bali again.
Totally agree. If it happens I don't think I will ever go to Bali again either.

Hoping for a miracle. While I don't condone their crime, I cannot stand for the ******** and inhuman slaughter of another human being.
    I stand for mercy.

I feel sick at the thought that two seemingly good (now) people are going to be shot. What they must be thinking in the lead up the poor things.

I am not a fan of the death penalty... Certainly not for a crime such as drug trafficking where the victims (drug users) need to share some blame.

    The poor fellas.

The bloodlust of some Australians hurts my heart.
I don't support the death penalty and think it's simplistic to say "they knew the penalty before they went there".
It was 10 years ago. They were 21.
They have apparently been rehabilitated. Isn't that the point?

On a personal level, I can't watch the news this week. Every time I hear these men are one step closer, I feel physically ill. I imagine how they must feel. What it will be like and I can't handle it. My heart is breaking at the lack of humanity.

I haven't wanted to go since the Bali bombings killed a classmate - especially after her murderers didn't get the death sentence yet her they are willing to kill over drugs! I would expect every Australian to boycott the place!

Yes, what is that about, ringleader of the Bali bombings which killed 88 people gets two years, yet these guys, who have been doing great things and have been rehabilitated are to be executed. The whole thing is messed up!

It saddens me every time I hear that the seemingly inevitable is getting closer. It is not a sensible or logical sentence, and seems firmly based in political point-scoring rather than true justice.

I feel for both Andrew and Myuran and their families.
