Default Where did you meet your friends?

I have different groups of friends, some I have made through

Work (but I am a sahm now)
My husband (the wives of his friends)
    School mums
    Friends of other friends

I don't have any friends from school.

Where did you meet your closest friends?

My longest best friend and I met in preschool. Been best friends since. Coincidentally, her mum and my nan (who raised me) taught together for many years before we were born!

My 3 other best friends (i call them my best mummy friends) I met through a local fb mums group a few years ago.

All my other close friends I have never actually met IRL, we originally met on bh in our DIGs and became friends on fb.

I am still friends with a couple of people from school but I wouldn't say we are close any more.

I'm still friends with loads of people from school and we finished in 1994.

My colleagues are my really good friends as well. Been working there for over 10 years.

Mothers' group. These are the only people I really knew in my area for a long time as I didn't grow up around here. There are 8 of us in the group who still see each other. Not bad as our kids are turning 7 this year. There are 2 or 3 who I see more often as we go to the gym together or our kids do sport etc. together.

I've met some friends through the gym. I've been going regularly for 4 years.

My daughter started school last year so I've met a lot of people through school.

I've also made some really good friends through my children's extra curricular activities.

My closest friend I met 28 years ago in primary school. I have 2 close friends who I used to work with (we started on the same day 10 years ago) and a few very good friends who I met in my due in group on BH when I was UTD with DS1.
I have other friends from high school and who I've met through kinder. I only have a small circle of friends.
