    Default Sick bub, any advice?

My 13 month old is sick. He has ulcers all over the end if his tongue, a red raw throat and very red ears. No pus. He is on panadol and nurofen alternating but can't get to sleep without a minimum half hour meltdown (he is so tired though) and isn't taking liquids. I stocked up on sugary crap squeeze pouch yoghurta, custard, fruit boxes but he's probably only had 50ml all day...any tips for getting him to sleep better And get fluids down?

Has he been to a doctor? perhaps antibiotics would help. Poor thing.

Yeah we went today and were told whether it's an upper respiratory thing or hand foot and mouth it's viral and nothing we can do other than try and keep his temp down and fluids up.

Can't believe I didn't think of hydralyte icy poles-thanks, sending hubby now

Hand foot mouth is horrible - my ds1 has had it twice. He pretty much had yoghurt and breastmilk for a couple of days.
