Hcg tripled but still so low they're now worried about ectopic. Couldn't have asked for a more sh**ty outcome. Another blood Monday but when she said a '6week scan next week' I hadn't realised I was THAT pregnant 😢

Oh no @DellaDella I really hope and pray that it's not ectopic. I have to say though, my HCG started out very low too, but tripled by each BT so it does sound somewhat similar. By the time I had surgery at exactly 6 weeks it had risen to 7500, and was clearly visible on my ovary. Please don't hesitate to go to hospital if you have any pain. I truly hope it doesn't turn out to be ectopic for you. I will be thinking of you and crossing my fingers for a good outcome

Oh @DellaDella this limbo thing really sucks.

I just spoke to FS, he is so lovely he makes my heart hurt! He didn't have the results of the hcg from today, but wasn't ruling anything out just yet (still trying to be hopeful bless him). He just wants to wait and see what happens, repeat scan next week if nothing has changed but he will ring me Monday with the blood test results and perhaps the plan will change... He is big on the idea of "Do you feel pregnant..."

Anyone that had a ruptured fallopian tube do you remember what it felt like before it happened? my specialist is suspecting ectopic, I haven't had any pain or bleeding but ive just got a 'weird' feeling in my uterus area since I lay down to go to bed and I'm having visions of internal bleeding.. The emergency dept is only a 10 min drive away and I don't want to panic but I'd just really like to avoid the whole emergency thing. I'm only 5 weeks (definitely not a viable pregnancy though) and next BT on Monday with scan the following Friday if numbers haven't dropped yet. I don't really know what I'm asking.. I just can't sleep 😊

Oh no ladies, I have just caught up with this thread nd so much sad news I feel for all of you @MrsChino @Sullo08 @DellaDella

I had an ectopic last year which didn't rupture til I was 7w4d. Apologies for TMI but thought it might help if I tell my story so @DellaDella you know possibly what to expect. My levels started at 190 which we thought was quite strong but within 2 days it had dropped to 157. I was told to expect miscarriage and a few days later it dropped again to 125. I went on holiday, had horrible bleeding and passed the sac (apparently a pseudo sac), it was horrible and I thought I had miscarried. Whilst on holiday a week later, I had more bloods done and they told me the levels now had more than tripled. I flew back and had repeat bloods and another proper scan done (couldn't see anything on the first) and they still couldn't locate anything uterine or ectopic. By this time I was 7w. I had started bleeding again at 6w4d but not very much. They booked me in for a diagnostic laparoscopy for 2 days time as it was the weekend and I was waiting for DH to get back. The night before the op, I had reasonably bad cramping and sort of bad one sided pain but not bad enough for me to go to ed. By the next morning though I was in excruciating pain and DH rushed me to the clinic (this is where I wanted DH to take me) where the FS sent me straight to the hospital. By the time we got there I was haemorrhaging dark coloured blood like I've never seen in my life. There was so much of it and there was no making a mistake this was ectopic pain. I'd felt 'off' and not comfortable for days but this was like contractions (I imagine). I lost a fair bit of blood and my tube but to be honest I reasoned that I didn't need it anyway as we are doing ivf! That has really helped me get through it but of course it's not how everyone can think.

Hope this helps a bit, am thinking of all you ladies and am so sorry you have had to go through this. Sending massive hugs xx

    Thanks @Excited1

@DellaDella how are you feeling this morning? I hope you managed to get some sleep in the end. The mental torture is just the worst. My ectopic wasn't in my tube, but even so I had niggly pain and a feeling of pressure on and off for about a week before it got bad enough that I couldn't ignore it. I went to the ED on Sunday night and they couldn't find it anywhere. It wasn't until 2 days later at a specialist women's scanning place they were able to see it on my ovary. During the op, the dr found a fair bit of blood in my abdo, so the pain I'd had was probably from the bleeding. I really hope you get some answers soon. The anxiety while you are waiting is horrendous. If you are worried you can always request a scan sooner than Friday as well. Big hugs to you hun. xo

@Sullo08 Gah - I'm so sorry the waiting continues! Your FS sounds lovely though. It makes such a difference, hey. I think my whole experience would have been a million times worse if my FS wasn't so compassionate and lovely. I hope things become clearer for you on Monday. Sounds like a bit of a cr*p weekend all round for us girls really!

It's a special kind of torture since my hcg levels are still rising but obviously by not enough (5500 yesterday, far too low for 7w3d)...

I feel like I have to keep posting in this thread coz it's not over for me!

Hope you are taking care of yourselves @MrsChino and @DellaDella

@MrsChino yep I forgot about the worst part was the rectal pressure- the blood pools in your abdomen and i couldn't sit down properly for a week before as it was pretty painful! Did you have this too?
