    Default IVF/FET in January/February 2015 #2

@MrsChino I've heard of those people too but unfortunately it's not us. With ivf and miscarriages, we can't afford to be naive. Never thought I'll struggle to have a baby. This sucks. 141 does seem low but it's doubling up. I hope the next scan gives you a definite answer. Limbo land is awful. It's like we don't suffer enough already.
@octonaut wishing you good luck again for your scan tomorrow. I hope your little bubba is growing nicely and safely.

    How's everyone else going?

@octonaut - best of luck with your scan tomorrow.
@MrsChino - that is great doubling - I was 160 at 4 weeks 3 days and no one seemed concerned because 3 days later it was at 690. FX there is a healthy little bean in there.

Afm - have had ms on and off this weekend. Was so intense yesterday I actually puked but today hardly had anything. So did have my hopes us yesterday but back to feeling like this won't work today. No heartbeat tomorrow is not my worst case scenario and I'm prepared to deal with it. We knew the risks going into this and I still chose to transfer an untested embryo so I will accept my/its fate. But I am praying this works.

Also I completely agree about non ivf-ers having NFI. Especially with how long everything takes - like you can't stim month after month, it's not guaranteed success etc. we haven't told many people we are doing ivf but most people know of my 7week mc last year (not the other earlier ones) and can't understand why I'm not pregnant again already. So frustrating. I've just changed specialists and have started telling family/close friends that if I have what he suspects, my chances of another baby are slim to none and for every cycle I take drugs to try, I need 2 months off to rest/recover my uterus. This seems to be shutting people the eff up! Everyone seems to be an expert on my uterus and ovaries except the effing specialists who admit they don't know what's going on. This game is mean and cruel and it saps the fun loving naivity of pregnancy out of me. I don't know what I'd do without you girls to vent to!!!

Yes! As soon as some people hear you are having ivf treatment, they seem to assume that you just stroll into the clinic infertile and stroll out pregnant. Oh, and it's all totally covered by medicare of course
Wow I think I had an extra bowl of bitterness this morning. I'll shut up now! @bella25 I really really hope that this is the one for you. Let this be your miracle! Thinking of you.

I so agree! I hate getting the, so are you guys pregnant yet? Not that we have told many people but we still get it. I know they don't really mean harm, they have NO IDEA what we go through and the real chances of success, but you'd think it would at least occur to them that they will be told when it happens... 😩

Oh amen ladies. Frustrating is an understatement when it comes to the cluelessness of most people.

@bella25 good luck for your scan tomorrow. I can imagine you would be very anxious! Crossing my fingers for good news.

We had a good scan. There was a heart rate of 134 which I was told was normal. It was measuring 2 days behind but then she did the measurement again from what she said was a better angle and it was right on 6w6days which is where I'm at. Have another scan with new FS tomorrow morning so looking forward to a little more reassurance.

Just dropping back in to say I'm officially PUPO again! After a very negative thinking month since our last bfn I am going to live the next week and a half in hope and hope I don't see AF for the next 9 months. Fingers crossed please stick Embie x

@bella25 at a few of my scans (I had lots) I watched them take the CRL measurements and it really depends on the sonographer. Especially when your little bean is so small they just seem to drag and click without much care and I had at least one where the woman measured him as behind and I made her do it again and Lo and behold he was right on track.

Always question the CRL I reckon.
