@bella25 I was always told you need to take a month off to let your hormone levels return to baseline after a stim before doing a FET. But every clinic seems to do things differently. If you don't mind me asking though, why are you looking at doing another cycle now? I thought you were pregnant? Or did I miss something? Big apologies if I did x

@Sullo08 praying for great rising numbers for you💖

Afm: I think it's the beginning of the end...have had some brown discharge this afternoon. It kinda feels sore up there, due to the pessaries I think?? It's day 8 post et but maybe more like day 7 as my embies were more like late day 4 (not yet blasts). I'm trying to tell myself it's implantation but really I feel like the red ***** is on her way.

Hey ladies! @Sullo08 no news yet! Beta tomorrow, but I'm going to get them to call DF - I don't want to find out at work! He'll tell me after work.... Urgh! Can't believe I haven't POAS yet....

Still buggered, and AF crampy for the last few days in mornings - no spotting or sign of her though - fingers crossed!! Soooo tired

    Default IVF/FET in January/February 2015 #2

Well - pretty sure I'm out
Test tomorrow to confirm, but odds aren't good.

Does anyone think my FS would be for letting us go straight into a FET?
Otherwise we would need to wait until June.

This will be our sixth failed cycle. Has anyone done genetic testing on their embryos and why/when did you decide that was the right option?

Good luck to those still in the game.

Hey @freakedout44 I’m so sorry to hear things aren’t looking good. With regards to genetic testing, FS has said he wants us to do that next time because out of the 27 eggs I’ve had retrieved, we have only had 2 embryos that weren’t poor or very poor. He recommended PGD to see if there is some underlying genetic problem before making the decision to move onto donor eggs. I don’t know much about how it all works to be honest, and I was thinking of starting a thread today with all my questions!

@Jadette Any more spotting hun? How are you feeling today?

@billykate Good luck for your BT! Crossing my fingers for good news for you today

Afm, I am properly bleeding and cramping now, so it’s all over red rover. I went in and did my BT a day early this morning because I’m quite keen to pull the pin on this cycle and move on. Just waiting for the dreaded call now. I already know the answer, I’m feeling ok about it at the moment, but the FN is always to kind and lovely and empathetic that I can’t help getting upset when I speak to her! It probably sounds crazy, but I wish she was just like ‘hello it’s negative when would you like your follow up appointment thank you goodbye.’

Sorry to hear that. I think it depends on your regime whether you can go straight to a FET. I did, I went straight to a natural FET but it all depends on your personal circumstances.

@freakedout44 I'm so sorry...I hope you can somehow have a happy anniversary 💖 Eat and drink some delicious food and Wine and enjoy your day which is a happy date for you both xo
@MRS Chino I'm so sorry...this just totally sucks!! Xo

I'm out too...tested this morning and BFN, still light brown small amount of discharge waiting for full red flow to kick in. Test not till Friday. Devastated as thought things were a bit different this time. Think it's time to move on to DS which makes me not want to go on.....
@billykate Hope you get great news today, we certainly can't all be unlucky today xo

I'm so sorry @Jadette I was really gunning for you! Moving on to DS is a big step - it's so much to get your head around. Big hugs.

Afm, Hmmm so I heard back from the FN. Apparently I have an HCG of 5. So one of the embryos started implanting at some point. I have to have another BT on Friday to make sure it has dropped back to zero, and we’ll take it from there. I don’t know whether to be encouraged or depressed that at least it tried to implant?! I was expecting a straight out BFN. I guess it doesn’t change anything really – the outcome is the same. I just hope it is zero on Friday so it doesn’t drag out any longer than it has to.

@MrsChino I would take any positive out of a failed cycle possible...your body tried to do its thing but It must not have meant to be. I'm sorry..I don't know how to quite put that! 💖
