    Hi Ladies,

    How’s everyone this morning?

    @kizmetzing I’m sorry you still don’t have answers. Being in limbo like that is just awful. Are you still having that left pain? Crossing my fingers for you.

    @stillhoping83 Those results sound pretty promising to me! Good luck for transfer on Saturday.

    @Sullo08 Great news it’s resolving and you’re starting to feel better! Bring on transfer

    Afm, I'm starting to get antsy and anxious about next week. EPU will be fine - I actually quite like those drugs! Mmm... sleepy treats . It's more the embies I'm worried about. Just really hoping we get some decent ones this time, given our crummy quality the last 2 times. I just want at least one to make it to day 5. I know there's nothing I can do but wait and see - I'm just tired of the waiting bit!

    @MrsChino - I totally understand. We ended up getting 1 to day 5 and I was thrilled with that - now just hoping it is good enough to get us a healthy baby... Seems like it's never ending hurdles! I loved EPU too - was so happy and high on drugs - went out to lunch afterwards and DH and I joked about how romantic/fun the ivf conception was for us that day!

    @MrsChino - going for an us at 1.30 to rule out bleeding cysts causing this pain. My gp was so lovely about it and was confident that we might still end up with a healthy pregnancy

    Hi everyone :-)
    I'm new to the world of IVF, but not to assisted conception.
    I probably should have joined this group a bit earlier.
    I have an 18month old son (naturally concieved after 2 mc) and TTC#2 is much much harder. I've had one mc and one chem pregnancy (post IUI) and after a year of injections or clomid and no results I've had enough - so we had a month off and now on the IVF road.
    I'm just frustrated that I have had 5 pregnancies and only have my beautiful boy - trying to stay positive for this cycle- and if no BFP, just hoping for maybe getting an answer for the losses.
    I have been injecting since day 2 - man the antagonist has a bite too it - just when I thought the trigger was bad. I will use the ice trick tonight.

    Looks like I have 8 follies and egg pick up is scheduled for Monday 16th. Any tips or hints for a first timer?
    Baby dust to all of you xx

    Hcg so still rising, maybe you just have a slow starter. I've seen some that ended up healthy babies that were slow for ages. Hope your ultrasound goes well. It's really difficult being in limbo land, try and take good care of yourself.

    @Sullo08
    Things should settle down pretty quickly, ie bloating etc, I'm glad everything is on track for V-day! You must be pretty excited.

    @stillhoping83
    That 8 cell looks like it's going to be a little beauty go embie go ! Good luck for Saturday

    @bella25
    Hopefully the long down reg will suit you better. I have noticed a pretty big difference in protocols actually x

    @MrsChino
    I'm also getting anxious about Monday,.. Just waiting to hear the final word. I always do look forward to EPU as it's like the really hard stuff is over at that point, then it just kind of feels like a bit of a lucky dip/chook raffle after that.

    @freakedout44
    how are you going?

    @BinnyC
    - welcome - I guess the main tips after EPU are to have your pain meds like panadeine organised beforehand to save you that extra annoying trip to the pharmacy afterwards, comfy clothes that don't pinch your waist, panty liners, and your favourite comfort food at home for after. DH and I often go to lunch afterwards depending on how I'm feeling, then it's rest and recuperation after that. I always take the next day off, I really don't know how some girls manage to work the next day, I'm always in what DH calls 'princess mode' feeling a bit precious at that point. DH usually fusses over me a bit after he picks me up though, which is kind of what you need, as I do sometimes get a bit of pain/light spotting after, but I've also had some that were minimal. A hot water bottle if you've got pain is amazingly good.

    Afm just waiting to hear re E2 levels. I don't feel too shabby so hopefully everything is ok.
    Everyone!!!

    Yay! Great news @Butterfly39!
    @MrsChino I'm going well thanks. I was feeling a bit hormonal yesterday - poor DH -but much better now the weekend is here!
    Going for my second scan tomorrow. The last one showed 12 follies on the right and 11 on the left - most just under 10mm so I was making good progress. Hoping they've all grown as they should for an epu soon! Also had my first intralipid IV on thurs which all went well.

    thanks - and wow you're definitely responding really well, good work! R u feeling ok with all those eggs coming in? You have a good excuse to be hormonal with all those follies! We don't pretend anymore, DH heads to his bunker as soon as the syneral comes out xxx

    I'm feeling a lot better today thanks for asking everyone! Transfer is scheduled for 10:00 tomorrow. As of day three we still had 12 growing strong so will be interesting to see what they actually look like tomorrow.
    @stillhoping83 good luck tomorrow!
    @MrsChino hang in there, not long to go.
    @BinnyC welcome to the group! I'm sorry you are going through this, hopefully you will find this group supportive and a place for you to have people that get it. If I have my EPU in the morning I manage to go to work the next day, I just avoid any manual handling. I don't spot at all after and just have cramping that feels like af pain. It's different for everyone, try not be too anxious.
    @Butterfly39 good luck!
    @freakedout44 wow, great numbers! Well done you...
