I got both bfps (first IVF after 7 cycles, second naturally but supported by immune protocol) after seeing a reproductive immunologist who finally diagnosed my "unexplained infertility" as abnormally high NK cells. He put me in a strong immune protocol and I got my BFP first cycle with him.

Drinking pomegranate juice every day (thins the blood), having intercourse the night before transfer (so body thinks it is a natural process), making fertility smoothies (Maca powder, mixed berries, pineapple juice, mango and coconut water). I did ivf 7 times, the only time I did all of these things I fell pregnant. Don't know if it was this or something else.

I did 8 cycles if ivf. My body was a temple for the first 7. Before the 8th I went on a two week bender overseas with 9 friends including my husband. I ate and drank anything and everything, god knows how many cocktails and glasses of champagne i had. We ate street food from dodgy looking carts and partied all night. I got pregnant the next round with twins. ( about 1 week after I came home was day 1). I think the reason was because I was so relaxed as I just assumed that the cycle was a write off.

@Cevapa I saw Dr Matthias in Sydney. Have you seen the reproductive immunology forum on Bubhub?

@Bella978 thank you. Yes I've read the forum a few months ago - will look it up again - I'm onto FET #6 and although I've been tested for everything I think there may be more to it.

@Cevapa I also believed I had been tested for everything, but it turned out I'd only been tested for everything my FS believed in or thought I should be tested for. Dr M tests a whole range of things that no fs in aus (that I've heard of) does. He will also send bloods to be tested in Chicago USA for test that aren't even performed in Australia. I think it's definitely worth consulting him if you've had 6 transfers and no success. All the best x
