    Default Twin pram suggestions

Wondering if you can help me decide which twin pram is the most multifunctional?

Which ones do you love and hate?

It really depends on the age gap of the children and what the children are like..

for me a side by side twin was best, I wanted a jogger and I have heard terrible things about joggers with 3 wheels tipping so that limited my choices. I also wanted one that could take a toddler seat.. this left the Valco Runabout Twin and Adventure Buggy... I didnt know of the AB at first so bought the valco with toddler seat.. the wheel ended up buckling from the weight as they are only weight rated up to 50kg.... the ABC is up to 90kg the makers tell me!

The ABC can also hold a twin toddler seat allowing it to hold 4 children, it comes with a backpack, bootcover, suncover and snuggle window and is suitable from birth. It is very similar to the mountain buggy but a bit cheaper, takes a toddler seat, holds more weight in total and comes with all the accesories

I've also had a mothers choice twin shopping pram and it was very hard to push and only holds up to 15kg per seat.... so toddlers can outweigh that fast!

I also had a Maclaren twin stroller, it was a brilliant shopping stroller and easy for a stroller to push but still not easy if you know what I mean! Its suitable from birth but I didnt like putting my bubs in there for a good few months!

I havent owned a tandem but am interested in the Jane Powertwin, its a jogger that has one in front of the other, I have tried out my friends and its very easy to push, the front seat reclines quite a bit and it looks funky

lHope that helps... sorry its an essay lol

Oh and age wise I use mine for:

Small 4 yr old and 17 month old
17 month old and 5 month old
4 yr old and and 5 month old
4 yr old, 17 month and 5 month
and occasionally 4 yr old and 5 yr old (the ABC is the only one that handles that weight)

The jane Powertwin is fantastic, my friend has one for her two girls, (6months and 2yrs). Easy to push and fold and not too heavy. That's what I plan on getting when I have another bub.

Thanks MC, I shall have to have a look when not so tired. I'm struggling trying to find a pram that has a toddler seat and that isnt too large/heavy for me or to fit in my little boot. There really doesnt seem to be much choice out there and I am trying to avoid buying a tandem.

    Hi,

I currently have a Steelcraft Twin Jogger for my twins which i am trying to sell as i have just bought a twin stroller which is much more lighter and compact. I regret not buying a twin stroller from the start.
