We are expecting our first one this April. I started working in July 2014 and obviously dont meet the 10 months working in 13 months prior to birth rule.
What proof of employment does one need to provide if one was self employed ? I dont want to loose the paid parental leave because I am short of one month of employment.
Hubby is a landscaper and I was cold calling for his business for one hour a day in the month of June. How will I need to prove this self - employment ?

Also, does anyone know if its financially benefical to go for Newborn Upfront Payment and Newborn Supplement instead of paid parental leave ?
