    Default Holiday help

    Hi
My hubby and I are 30 and 40 next year and we haven't been on a holiday since our honeymoon almost 6 years ago.
Our kids will be 5, almost 4 and 2.
We are going to invite family and friends too.
We have been looking at a Carnival cruise but just wondering if anyone has any actual resort destinations too. Or if anyone has been on a carnival cruise.
    Thanks 😄

My family has just come back from a cruise it was brilliant! We went on a 17 day Asian cruise starting in Beijing ending in Singapore. Cost us less than $100 each per night and it includes everything all meals, travel, entertainment everything. You can drop the kids at a kids club and they have their own pool do cooking classes, arts and crafts it's open from 7am to 11pm so u and hubby can spend some time with each other and don't have to find a baby sitter on holiday. We also went on an 11 day cruise to Fiji in February last year our family loves them. It's a good holiday for mums as u actually don't have to do A thing your room will get cleaned 2 times a day and food is only a lift ride away. Plus it is such an adventure for the kids going to sleep in one country waking up in another.

I have been on quite a few cruises. Awesome way to have a holiday though to be totally honest I would wait until your youngest was 3 and toilet trained before going on a cruise. (otherwise they cant go into kids club ... and the rooms are not really big enough to spend much time in for day sleeps etc, so the kids need to be bigger to really enjoy)

Where do you live? and what kind of things do you like to do on holidays?

we have always gone with Royal Carribean ... but Carnival are great.

Out of Hawaii they have big ships (big is great) and lots of competition so is fabulous. I will see if I can dig up some other threads where i have commented on cruising ...

A few friends have stayed in Hawaii with kids and had a ball.

We are doing a 6 or 7 night cruise to the islands in august. Think it is a good start for us before we go further. Cant remember what our ship is called but it isnt a carnival. I am lookong forward to some time alone while knowing kiddo(will be 8 by the time we cruise) is having fun and is safe. Depart Brisbane.
