Well done newmummy!!! 6 eggs is still a good number. They would have grown nice and slowly too so are probably a nice quality. First round is often a dress rehearsal to see how your body responds to the drugs. The numbers we have gotten in here are probably inflated due to us being pcos gals. Plus every cycle is different, I think I got 8 last time. Remember, it only takes 1 good egg to make your baby. I've seen a couple of ladies get 1 egg and they became babies. Get the hot water bottle out and hit the comfort food, and rest up X

@newmummy85, SNAP again hunny! I got 6 eggs as well! I thought I might get bit more too (like8 or9) but as butterfly39 said, its all still good fortunately all 6 of mine were mature.
My cousin in the US only had 3 follies & 2eggs!

A little fumny - so when I woke the nurse told me the numbers. But I remembered to look at the number on my hands as well. And I noticed they had written the same number on both my hands! And I asked the nurse .. is that how many retrieved from each side haha (she explained they mustve mistakenly taped the number on each hand)

Hubby had to privide 2 samples today (he got to check out the porn room hehe) but the sperm numbers were still low for ivf. So they have switched us to icsi.

Feeling ok at moment .. just on & off period pain feeling.

@Butterfly39, awesome numbers! Hope they will all work out well for you

@crose & @mags83, hope you gals are doing well too

I havnt posted for a while but have been following just to see how you are all doing. Good luck everyone, don't get disheartened by low egg retrieval numbers as it does only take one good one. Just remember every month when normal people get pregnant it's only from one egg so just think you are speeding things up and taking 6 months worth of eggs in one go! Keeping fingers crossed for you all. X
