I usually love the heat but not with the rain and 2 littlies. We only have a portable air con unit & fans so trying to keep their rooms cool has been a fruitless effort the past few days. I won't even say what temp ds's room was yesterday...he did have a 2nd fan blowing straight on him so slept quite cool

Ugh, I hate it. But mainly cos we don't have aircon so when it's hot too many days in a row our house is miserable to stay in. Especially if the overnight min temp sits high like it has been.

How mental was the thunderstorm last night?!? So much lightening & I can still hear thunder rolling now! Didn't sleep much from about 4am though. 😵

Its awful. We are on the other end of the storm and had nothing! Saw lightning (i think) at 1am and maybe 2 really quiet rolls of thunder. Its bucketing down at dps work they've just had hail 😲

The thunder was so loud last night that it woke me up and I swear it was right outside our window! DS was in bed with us from midnight so it was actually kind of nice all snuggled up with him and DH.

We've got evaporative air con so I've turned off the cool function and have it just blowing air. It becomes pretty useless when it's humid like this!

I've always said that I'd rather be cold than hot! You can always put more clothes on but you can't always take them all off! 😂

I'm not loving this weather being 35wks pregnant. Didn't sleep much last night because it was humid and hot (evap AC sucks) the thunder was insanely loud and so was the rain and the dog barked most of the night at the storm.

On the plus side I'm hoping the rain has helped with the fires and the garden is going to love it.

I'm a big ol cup of sunshine at work today

I am going to buck the trend. I absolutely love summer storms. I didn't notice the storm until about 5 am when it was over head but it was awesome. It was ds first real storm and he slept through it! Now I am going to sit outside and let ds play in the rain :-)
