Default BFP on frer and BFN on clear blue digital, but lighter at lunch today

    Hi ladies,

I'm new to this forum thing, but do enjoy reading everyone's stories. I'm in need of some advice, i am 14 dpo today, AF did not show and I am never late. I have taken several POAS (when I say several, i mean a lot! lol). I did not get a positive on FRER until 12 dpo, that same night I took a clear blue digital and it said not pregnant. but yesterday and today I have still been getting BFP with FRER, although because I seem to be a slight addict to POAS i did one at lunch time today and it seemed a little lighter, am I just being silly by thinking something is wrong because it was a little lighter? I feel slightly crazy right now! lol. I have a photo but i have no idea how to upload the image? Please help!

    Two options:

    - the lunch time one was because your urine was more dilute which was why it was lighter.

    - it's a chem preg and the second line will disappear in a few days.

I hope it's the first one for you. Keep testing and see how you go.

Don't stress! It's totally normal to get a darker response with first morning urine, because it's more concentrated.

FRER has a lower detection limit than many other tests, so it often picks up the presence of HCG earlier. Your other tests will probably start to show a positive in a couple of days' time.

Your best bet is to book in with a GP for a quantitative blood test.

I tested with the clear blue digital with FMU and got pregnant 1-2, so I'm taking that as a good sign!!
