Hahaha! When DH and I got together, I used to hassle him to shave. The day he finally did, I said "I don't like it. Grow it back." And walked away. It's really strange but you will get used to it.

My DH never had facial hair until about 5 years ago (have been together 14 years). I hated it and after a year or so convinced him to shave it off. He did and OMG he looked like a really young man - not my husband at all!! I did the same @Elainebenes - said 'nah, I like the beard better' he was like - unfreakenbelievable! Took him a good 6 months to get it back the way we both like it! Hahaha!

I don't think I will have to get used to it for long. Dh was told to shave it by the aneasthetist because he is getting his wisdom teeth out under general on friday. He just said to me 'don't worry, it's coming back'. He is pretty hairy, will probably be back in a week or 2.

Lol I think I actually cried and almost had a panic attack the first time I saw DP beardless. I was like "Don't touch me, you are not the man I know and love!"

Lol! I can kinda relate but I'm the opposite- DH has slowly been going bald so recently shaved his head and to compensate grew facial hair as well.... Looks completely different to the man I've been with for 14 years.... Still don't like him kissing me as it feels weird! Plus I've never been one for facial hair

Still love him but who the hell is this guy?!?

Haha, this post has given me a laugh! DH shaves regularly and one long weekend he let it grow and groomed his beard into a goatee. It was kind of sexy but I kept laughing when I looked at him so he shaved it off before going back to work even though I wanted him to keep it!
