Default Do the straps in your baby car seat/s

....always become twisted and tangled? I've pulled the cover off my seats and re-threaded the straps but have found that they become twisted again almost immediately.

    Does this make it unsafe?

Does anyone have a seat that has straps which don't become twisted and tangled? If so, what is it and how old is it?

Neither our SnS Maxi Rider AHR (3 years old) and our Infasecure Comfi Caprice straps twist.

They twist a little but it's easy to just untwist when clipping DD into her seat. Certainly not enough to need re threading of the straps.

We've had a few seats in our time...

SNS unity capsule - fine, no problems
Mothers choice 0-4 seats (cant remember their name) - not too bad
Hipod Milan - ok, some twisting, no need for rethreading though
SNS Meridian - great. no twisting
SNS Maxi Rider Easy Adjust - great. No twisting
Infa Secure Comfi Caprice - Great - no twisting.
Mothers choice Nobel booster - HORRIBLE! Absolutely positively horrible. Just need to look at it and they twist. needs rethreading and reinstalling all the time.
Babylove Targus - Some twisting, but can usually straighten it out without many problems.

Ive found if you put your child in, then (with the exception of the mothers choice nobel) grab the strap where it comes out near their thigh/bum, and follow it up with the clip, then up along their body and over the shoulder, you should avoid twists

I don't have problems but dh and fil do. I find the secret is to put my hand right down in the hip area and run it towards the buckle and untwist as I go. What I think twists them is people grabbing the buckle and pulling hard (most impatient men ) which pulls the twists through the buckle.

DH always twists the straps. It's not hard to check they aren't twisted every time. So annoying! And yes it's dangerous.
