    Default Schools back

    Woohoo!!! School is back. I am excited i may end up getting at least 6hrs of unbroken sleep starting tomorrow(not today coz busy with appointments) and the beginning of the week is always my busiest with 10hr night shifts with possibility of turning longer if staff dont show up like today.

    DS has a male teacher and i am happy with him. I think he may be new to the school but he seems lovely.

    Hows the first day back for all you parents who are down a kid or few?

    We have to wait till next week still.
    DD1 goes back on monday next week.
    Thank goodness DD2's daycare is only closed on public holidays so she hasnt really stopped

    Still a couple more days here. Dd starts grade 2 on Thursday and ds starts prep on Friday

    My Ds1 starts school on Thursday, I'm quite excited, and DD will have childcare 2 days a week. They've been home full time since early December and I've decided I would make a terrible full time SAHM!

    DS1 is in grade 2 this year and DS2 in pre-prep. Over the moon with both of their teachers and looking forward to the year. DS2 has basically never been away from me unless he's with his dad or my mum, so a huuuge step for him and he didn't cry. So very proud.

    Fast forward to us at the school.. Wondering why it was so quiet *tumble weed*. Dsd school goes back tomorrow..* face palm*.

    Our three big kids (Yr 8, Gr 5 and Gr3) don't go back until Thursday and DS2 starts Prep next Monday.

    I'm so jealous of everyone who has kids starting today! Lol

    My kids started back today. First day of school for DS. I thought it would be quite easy but it wasn't. All of his friends were put in other classes so he was very lonely and nervous. I'm hoping the day picked up for him.
