    Default Nan Comfort 2 Formula

Hi everyone, new to this so I hope I am doing this correctly.

Has anyone had issues with feeding their bub Nan Comfort 2 Formula? I've weaned him from Comfort 1 to 2 and he has now started to have 4-5 dirty nappies a day, very offensive smell and varying colour/consistency.
he has now got nappy rash but I'm not sure if it's teething, the formula or the change in bacteria activity in his belly due to the increase in solid foods (he's almost 8mths old).

    thanks

I was using karicare stage 1 on my bub and at 6 months I decided to move him to stage 2. For maybe the first week he was pooing a lot too maybe 3-4 times a day but he was having plenty of formula and a fair bit of solids too along with teething.
How long has he been on the new formula?
I found after that first week it was pretty cruisy and back to normal.

Hopefully someone here has some experience with that particular formula :-)

No problems at all. We also swap between Nan 2 and Aldi with no problems.

Thanks. It is coming up to a week since he has gone solely to comfort 2. We took a few weeks transitioning from 1-2 as recommended on the tin. I will give it until the end of the weekend and see if there's any change.

The introduction of solid foods is most likely the cause of smell and increase in dirty nappies. Once consuming solids regularly you will find the smell and frequency will depend on what they've eaten that day. Fruits will loosen them up and increase frequency and can have a slightly acidic smell (except banana which can bind them up a bit), veggies will have a very different smell and meat introduces a whole new world of gross smell!

I didn't even transition from 1 to 2. Oops. I just gave him 2 when the run of 1 ran out! I don't recall any problems though. I would say there is potentially other factors influencing this but if it doesn't settle soon perhaps he may be having issues with 2?
