    Default Vitex and TWW

I am currently taking vitex and was wondering if anyone knows if it is safe to continue taking during the TWW?

As with many things, there differing opinions and it depends why you are taking it (ie are you trying to even out your cycle). My naturopath advised me that it is fine to take during the TWW and up to the end if the first trimester as it can prevent miscarriage if you don't produce enough progesterone. I've also read some people say not to take it while pregnant. Since it seems the internet will give you conflicting advice on most things, I personally just end up going with my naturopaths advice.

I take a stronger form of vitex (it's a practitioner brand called P-Lift) and I take it all month long.

Thanks for that. Reading on the internet was my reason for the question, so confusing

I also take P-Lift as advised by my naturopath so i will continue to take it as she didn't mention anything about stopping during the TWW.

I've just sent her an email to confirm.

I'm taking it to regulate my cycle

It is so confusing isn't it! My naturopath specifically said P-Lift in particular was safe to take whilst pregnant so you should be fine
