I love it. Even got a little emotional at the end!

I think the bfs only have covers to hide the fact that they are dolls and aren't actually bf though.

I can see why pro BF associations wouldn't be so pleased.

The ones supposed to BF do it hidden behind a cover which does nothing to normalize BF.
But it does do normalize "modest" BF behind a cover

Also lets not kid ourselves, the private companies behind the video did do it to make money by selling their products.

Brilliant marketing technique... Millions of mothers all over the world are praising it, sharing it & getting this formula companies name out there.

I liked the ad, but I think it also sexualised the breast ( the fathers group comments),

It's been linked on heaps of sites but the criticisms from bfers weren't over the covers. It was over the fact formula should not be promoted as being ok (whatever let's keep proverbially beating bottle feeders down to the ground until the end of time shall we?) and that Similac had a vested interest.

I think we forget bfing is big business too. LC's charge a fortune per hour. There are breast pumps, nipple creams, breast shields, covers, the sale of lactation cookies, bfing books and classes, lactation meds. One could argue any push by any of these groups could been seen as profiteering as well, but bc bfing is seen as more wholesome no one seems to register that.

I saw this morning and loved it. If a formula company promoted it, its not like I really noticed..

This reminded me of the very first coucil arranged Mother's group I was in. I was the minority. Youngest Mum, was the only one breastfeeding and gave birth vaginally. Because I didn't go through stuff like them.. it was like a playground fight.
This add speaks true to me. No matter your beliefs.. we are all parents.

That baby at the end was adorable, what a beautiful baby! I haven't seen this before today on here and the sentiment at the end was great.

I have a snivel at the end too, but I'll blame prego hormones Gorgeous little girl.

I'm just so over the Mummy Wars! who cares it was made by a formula company and the reactions on the net to it only reinforce how bad the Us vs Them has become.
